I would find it wierd supporting him.

He is probably the best technical Scottish youngester out there the now but whether we could mould that into a good player for us im not sure.

We're probably not even interested, this is just setting up the headline once the huns get him.

RRRRRRANGERS TRUMP CELTIC TO SIGN ALLAN - THE TEDDY BEARS ARE BACK AND BEATING CELTIC ALREADY!

    Or something shorter and wittier.

If the scouts and RD etc think he will add to our team then go for it. Whether he supported another team or not is not my concern, provided he gives us 100%. If it gets up anyone's nose that says more about them.

Happens in Scotland, it's a small place. If he does the business for Celtic then we're jamming.

He does a fair bit for Diabetes' charities.

He'd instantly become their best player, even if they were to keep Vuckic

As others have said if its between us and sevco he will go to them.I think if he came to us he would do really well, creative player needs to lose a bit of weight though

Would be happy if he went to another Scottish team besides them, Aberdeen would be a good move.

Still want him though. Swap deal giving them Mcgeouch and a bit of money is a good shout by whoever said it.

Why is there this weird fixation amongst Celtic fans to suggest other teams buy players? :56:

There's only 1 way to find out if he is good enough for Celtic and that is to give him a shot, same way we did with Hartley, Robson, Mulgrew, GMS, Armstrong, Griffiths, Stokes when they had proven themselves elsewhere in Scotland etc etc etc...

I dont think he'd get near out team tbh, not fast or fit enough, not disciplined enough defensively which means the only role he could play would be Johansen or Commons who are both better than him.

Elements of Paddy McCourt about him where he can be good but has gaping holes in his game meaning his level if probably Sevco/Aberdeen/Dundee Utd/Hearts/Hibs or the English League 1 or bottom end Championship team.

I don't think he is that great.

He stands out in the championship but so what. When have we ever before become desperate to land championship players?

He is far fitter and faster than McCourt. I've seen you say a few times he is slow and unfit, any game I've seen him in he's not only put in a shift but he regularly bursts past 2 and 3 players at a time making a mockery of your suggestion. The semi in particular he looked not only a class above everyone on the pitch but ran more and ran quicker.

Seems to me you are fabricating the fact he's slow and unfit because he has a health issue.

Its kinda nice to see other teams in Scotland buy players, saves them all from going down to England.

He's not got the technical ability of Ryan Gould surely.

I never knew he had diabetes until about 1 month ago when I seen him talking about it on SSN. But it's probably why he lacks fitness and is slightly chubby but id always thought he looked not quite right from any time I seen him from the start of the season.

He does run about fine on the ball but off the ball or if he loses the ball he always just gives up, never chases for it back never runs back to defend or anything, he works in small bursts where he runs about and then he stops and takes a breather the runs about on the ball then loses and it and takes a breather and so on. I dont think he could ever keep up the pace to play for us with players like Armstrong, Brown, Bitton and Johansen in the central areas.

Thats the main problem id think about signing him, that he'd just look way off the pace and never get a game.

Then theres his style of play, he is a pro-active player who attemps to unlock things a lot, at Hibs he can get away with it because he's a class above the rest of them skill wise but at Celtic the amount of times he loses the ball by attempting the final pass but not pulling it off would become frustrating.

I think he has really good talent but is more a Riordan/McCourt than a Mackay-Steven/Griffiths.

think his potential and being scottish born would make him look good.

Plus something not to be ovberlooked at under a million he is a steal and could definately be loaned out to another club and sold on for a couple of million in a few years
