Nowhere near good enough for Celtic. There's a reason he didn't play a single appearance for West Brom and is playing in the 2nd tier of Scottish football.

Liam Henderson, 4 years younger and far better prospect IMO.

Agree that we should not buy a player to sit on the bench when we could be putting the likes of Henderson there and brining him off the bench.

I think he tries too much at times. He wouldn't get near our starting X1.

The price makes it an interesting wee deal.

We should be judging the players on the skills they have. Allan might not have shown up so well in the play-offs. He is though, player of the season.

He's shown up well over the whole season. As much as he wouldn't be necessarily everyone's perfect signing, if Hibs want to sell at that price then we'd be daft to miss out. There are a few others i'd like in from the Championship players like Cummings and Reilly. By the looks of it you might get all three for £1million.

There must be some profit to made getting three good players for half Guidetti's signing on fee.

He plays centre mid and won't challenge ours to start so i wouldn't waste our time with him.

Was wondering when this would show up after the rangers games
I think he would play similar to Armstrong McKaysmith but not sure whether he had what it takes
I liked him and thought he played well remember we have mcgeough as well to come back from loan who I think is similar to Allen

He would be more creative and not as aggressive in midfield as compared to brown johansen and bitton (with height as well)

We don't need to flood the squad mediocre players, we need to offload the deadwood we already have, and bring in guys who will either improve the first team, or at least push the regular starters. Jason Cummings wouldn't even get near our bench.

I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Whether it's true or not is another thing but he is a good player with the potential to be even better. Has the ability to beat people then has the composure to pick a pass.

I hope this isn't true. I don't think he is good enough for us, nowhere near good enough to be very honest :38:

Cummings is awful. Absolutely awful. Hibs' problem this year was that their strikers weren't good enough. Why would we sign one of them?

I think Allen would improve here being surrounded by better players.

They are his boyhood team no doubt about it. He was putting pictures up on instagram to prove it. Which I was delighted at as if you have any ambition of playing for us you dont put pictures up of you in a rangers kit on social media.
I know we've taken many a hun and shown them the right path like brown for example but this one is too stupid for us too change he comes across as an absolute air head with his north Korean dictator hair cut.

    Broony was a hun:rolleyes:

That * rumour from Huns because we got him, seen his rangers tattoo on his calf? Nah, nor me..

As for Allan, he's a good player, I rate him. Young enough, proving a point in his career and has talent and will improve further. Cheap and no real risk either. He'd have some job getting in our side but he'd definitely be a good squad player..

All this hun *, he wouldn't sign for us blah blah blah. Kenny dalglish was the biggest hun going and played here for 7 years as well as being a hun skelper. He's since shown that he's a hun *, so why would an Allan reject us? If we offered him enough, he'd be here like a shot..

I do think they'll sign him though as I reckon we're not really after him, he'd be a coup for them, not so much us..

For the transfer fee involved and taking into account he could play in any of our 5 midfield positions I don't see any negative to buying him... We might even be able to do a straight swap for Dylan McGeough...

If the fee of half a mil is correct, no brainer for me.

Don't see him starting for us now but he has the potential to if he's willing to be a squad player at first.
