Education is important. And education doesn't rob them of a childhood.

It depends what you are educating them on though.

It could do though Minty. "Education" is obviously very subjective.

Exactly, loads of it is about closing young minds and getting them to conform, it has become a target farm for successive governments.

I really don't think there's any way that you could say a childhood was robbed, by teaching them that some people are different.

Well people seem to be confused, thinking that kids are going to be encouraged to say they're non-binary. That's not the case.

I agree with this. I would even say in an ideal world, there should be correct methods put in place to help them recover from the horrible ordeal they are going through. Id say the parents lifestyle/lifestyle choices would have alot to answer for for this brain trauma, or the diets theyve been eating. The toxins one puts in their body since the moment they wake is shocking and im sure this is the main cause of this brain damage during pregnancy. And not to forget the pill, its messing up our waterways and the fish that live in it so im sure its destroying the fragile brains of any children that follows when one comes of it.

Can these people be healed correctly, i wouldnt know but i know one thing, they should try to instead of covering them up in cotton wool and encouraging it. Will this happen, not a * chance it will in the society we live in. Theres money to be made from these people now, whether its the fashion range, the daft hair-dos, the doctors visits, the medication, the counselling sessions and the surgeries and so on. Oce the big pharams see pound signs, they will be a chain effect right down encouraging it. The list is endless of how much money this * generates now and not a hope will they will get the morally correct method of healing.

Some people might think im a cold hearted * when they see my opinion on this but IMO, there is many different angles to look at one thing and the herd mentality isnt always the correct one.

What really annoys me is people like me aint allowed to have our opinion in-case we offend them. The world aint no flowers and sunshine and abit of offence, just might be the very thing one needs to see sense.

Your opinion seems to very much fit the 'herd mentality', actually.

How exactly can you say for certain they won’t be? A young mind is a blank canvas, yes they should be taught about tolerance and diversity, but putting this subject into schools should be done with caution. As I said let kids be kids and what will be will be imo.

Teachers have a duty of care, and there's a stark difference between teaching them about something and encouraging them to follow it. I was taught about a lot of potentially controversial subjects at school (homosexuality, religion and so on) but not once was I encouraged to change myself due to learning about it.

I'd agree that it should be taught with caution, as there still needs to be a lot more study done on the matter.
