Decent, mate. Loads of folk go a bit later now you'll find, much more common. Numerous guys on my course over 30.

I do Environmental Management and Planning. Not very exciting but good chance of a decent job afterwards..I hope.

Haha I was * it before I went into first year, lad. Genuinely thought I'd be the only old *, but was grand!

Any idea what you fancy getting into after?

Nah not a scooby yet, to be honest.

It could get me into a lot of different sectors. Hopefully I have a better idea in 2 years time:smiley-laughing002:

When you're young that * seems to be the most important thing.

When you grow up a bit you realise it couldn't/shouldn't be any further down on your list of priorities when either choosing or going to University.

Don't know really. I had a look through them all and didn't really find any of them interesting. Was looking more into one in the' hobbies and interests' criteria but they don't have much on.

College is for learning, not making friends/new hobbies.

Yes, but It's rather depressing looking around and seeing that everyone has made friends and you're in second year and literally have none there.

I just graduated this year. The societies are pretty pish- hardly a choice.

Although I met my friends in the Yes society and politics society and mates tonthis day. You'll find the societies aren't really a big deal - nor the union.

    What you studying?

Yeah there are lots of mature students especially at college.

I've just finished college there and one of the mature students and I went to the Stone Roses in Manchester together and there's a 13 year age gap. :56:
