    When's the deadline?

If there's still a reasonable amount of time it's probably worth trying and get in contact with them one last time. If nothing comes from that, and they continue to be lazy *, then I would be sending a message to the lecturer/whoever's dealing with it. No one likes the idea of being a grass, but in situations like this it's completely understandable.

I've been in a similar situation myself, and it was one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to deal with (and speaking as someone who doesn't like holding grudges, it remains one of the few instances where I wasn't able to forgive and forget). I'm a fairly lazy person myself, but never in a million years would I allow my laziness to effect other peoples grades.

I do alot of Law as well, environmental and health and safety mainly though. Done criminal in first year.

I'd rather do that than these equations though, report writing etc is my strong point.

    Numbers got me like...

Went over to a friend's and he helped with the video, doing voice over stuff. * shown up by someone who doesn't even do the course or go to the Uni. Told them I finished it. Some said thanks but the wee Hun * who didn't even have the decency to give an excuse, instead just flat out refusing to do anything, hasn't said a word.

Good to hear you got help but I'd still either grass that hun * and his pals in or burn down each of their houses.

    Either or.

Just had a look at my timetable for 1st semester.

Not too bad, only in a few days. One of my modules involves numerous presentations and a 6,000 word report. Thought I'd managed to shake the presentations for a year as well:32:

    Been a * quick summer.

Went too quick! I've got to do a 15 minute presentation on France's obesity crisis next week, in French. All I've got so far is "L'Obesité est un gros problème", which is frankly an awful pun.

Christ, that sounds brutal. Year you in and what are you studying?

I could have done a placement for my 1st semester seeing as it is my 3rd year but I struggled to find anything. Quite content to do a few modules which should be easy enough.

2nd year, but 'mature' at 24 as I worked for a bit beforehand. Studying politics but picked up French as well. Looking to hopefully go to France next year for the year and already scheduled to do second semester this year in Australia.

    What is it you're studying?

Counting down the days until I'm finished and I'm only two weeks into my postgrad.

In college for about 13 hours and teaching 6/7 hours a week but travelling between the school and college is a pain in the hole, takes an hour on the bus and even longer getting home when there's traffic. Two years of it too.
