What ‘extreme length’ have you went to, or what have you sacrificed to watch Celtic?

I worked in Argos when I was 16. Pulled a sicky to go to Man Utd away (2008).

Told my maw I had the holidays sorted & she went in to buy a * George Foreman whilst I’m away. Everyone’s asking how I am & she’s no got a clue what their talking about & stuck me right in it.

We got humped 3-0 & I got sacked.

Interested to hear who’s missed the birth of their child etc...:fear:

No-one will beat the fan who sold his house without telling his wife, so he could go to see us win the cup in Lisbon. :giggle1:

Went a period of working every game during Rodgers' first season, spent 3 hours doing "shites" watching the game on ma fone, or basically facing the sack if caught watching the games on kodi/laptop.

    Well worth it.

Honestly. Early 80s when we were nippers my da went out a few times to get the paper on a Friday morning. Used to turn up on a Tuesday after being in Glasgow. Don’t know how my ma stuck that. Different days then. Ma started sending one of us with him.

Was meant to work the Sunday of the hun game this season, lied to my boss on the Saturday when I was in saying I had got a ticket for it thinking they would've definitely gave me it off, they didn't so just never went in and stuck phone on aeroplane mode. They no longer employ me.

Can’t really think of anything myself.

Seville landed in between my exams at uni. I went to Spain for a week instead of studying. That was fun.

Lost 2 jobs coz of Celtic.

First one was T-Mobile, asked for the day of an Old Firm game off, knocked back. Phoned in sick the morning of the game on the bus, manager was suspicious but I was semi-convincing then some guy a few rows down randomly burst out with "HAAAAIL, HAAAAIL, THE CELTS ARE HERE!" Hung up and never went back. We got beat 4-2 :99:

Second one, clearly not following the 'once bitten, twice shy' methodology. I phoned in sick again for a game v Aberdeen, manager asked if I was at it and going to the game...gave it the Pinnochio routine. Then met a manager of another shop on route to the game, wee nod in his direction, thought nothing of it.

After weeks of doing an Oscar-winning performance he then stoats in and says "How did you enjoy the Aberdeen game big man?" My manager starts looking over like :47: .... get your coat.
