Discuss Ryan Christie in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.
I heard he doesn't need sleep but instead merely slows down to a jog for 8 hrs a night.
Nir is such a wind up.
RC: We’re very well prepared. We’re excited to get started.”
RC: “3 points would be the perfect start. We know how good they are and you can see that from how they’ve started.
RC on group favourites: “It’s hard to tell right now but after a game games, everyone will be able to suss each other out.
RC: “I think the performance away in Sweden showed the maturity of the squad, to bounce back after a difficult result.”
RC: “We’re always confident in our attacking threat. We’ve got a number of players that any opposition should be fearful of.”
CELTIC star Ryan Christie says there’s no reason both he and Tom Rogic can’t play for the champions at the same time.
Christie reckons the return to action of the Australian, who played his first game of the season against Hamilton Accies on Saturday, is something he’s happy about — even though the he will be challenging for his position.
He said: “It’s positive that Tom is back fit.
“Competition across the squad is always good and I’m delighted to see Tom back because he’s such an incredible player.
I can’t speak too highly of him, even though he plays in the same position as me!
“He’s been outstanding to watch ever since I’ve been at Celtic. Hopefully he’s over the injuries and he can kick on.
When I broke into the side last season, a lot of the time it was me and Tom playing together. We were both in there, which I loved.
“There’s no reason why it has to be just one of us in the side. We can both play at the same time. That would be happy days for me.
I’ve learned during my time at Celtic there’s never any room for complacency. There are so many good players in this squad, especially right now.
“If you look at the squad list after the window closed, we are strong in every single position.
It pushes people to be at the top of their game because there’s always someone there waiting to take your place.”
Would be interesting to see them both together.
Am sure they both played together last season, December time, Brown was injured and we racked up some impressive wins????
I think he has one of the best attitudes and work rates of any player I have seen on a football pitch.
I think he is immense. Becoming a real quality footballer.
Brilliant tonight. What an attitude this boy has. Sky's the limit for him.
Balls of steel for that penalty
* everywhere and composed to find a way out when he was boxed in.
Deluded hun mate keeps crying that he dived for the pen we should've had. Told him he might as well give up watching football.
Stay away from loony bins then...................
