I think tying him down to an improved long term contract is the next logical step, ASAP would be my thinking, before clubs start to sit up & notice him.
It would also show KT our ongoing intent to keep our best here with him.

Great effort last night, becoming one of my favourites..which is always a midfielder. As said if he stays fit and avoids anymore assaults he should get poty.

We won’t, this can’t be the default position to every player that’s in form :56:

What a player he is becoming, think a midfield 3 of Christie,McGregor and Brown has the perfect blend, hope they all stay fit as will be massive players for us this season, with Forrest and Johnston on the wings,we’re looking really good.Crazy how many Scottish players we have playing regularly for us now, good to see.

I think (if he stays fit) that he will be this year's player of the year

Hi agent Mr Liam O’Donnell (aka the *) will be alerting English teams as we speak as he did with Armstrong and tried to do with Turnbull!

    Christie isn't a money-chasing * like Armstrong.

He loves Celtic, you can see it in his play and when he scores and punches his fist in the air in the direction of his mum & dad in the seats in the South Stand.

Once we've tied up the more pressing issues of the summer then we should get him and signed up for the next 4 or 5 years. He's going to be some player for us.

Just seriously, seriously need a season where HE , KT (and some of the other casualties from last season) just stay fit for the whole campaign.

9 points last time with a squad running on empty... we could go well past that with some consistent fitness.

A season of refereeing to the rules would help as well as too many of our injuries (like RCs head/face) are the result of hatchet football and not through normal play/attrition.

I have little faith in seeing it this season.

Apologies if been asked already, but anyone know how long hes tied down for? Need to get him on a long term deal asap. I've mentioned before, if he stays injury free he'll be POTY.

He's going to be vital this season for us by the looks of it. He's really progressed this last year or so and looks real quality. Tie him down pedro.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
He is without doubt a VITAL cog in the 2019/20 Green and White Machine.
Something tells me I do not no why except for the lovely green and white air around me that he will score a superb vital goal as we go past the last 16 in the CL this season:84:

He’s infectious, our tempo with him on the pitch is several times higher, he’s aways either available for the forward pass or dragging players away so others are available.

I wouldn't really blame any player for leaving for bigger wages and for wanting to play in a better League, it is after all a short career, so understandable they would want to maximise their earnings.

We would be naive to think that any player wouldn't be tempted if a big offer came along, and that his love for the club would be enough to keep him here, one thing looking at it from a supporters perspective another if you are that particular player being tempted with vast sums of cash.

Lenny said last season he wanted Christie in a swap - it wasn’t Allan that everycunt was saying at the time.
