    READ THIS FIRST:

Once your team is ready, post your line up in here and any tactics you'd employ in this match. Once both teams are up, I'll put up the poll.

You can vote for yourself (votes for your own team should eliminate each other out) or you can vote against yourself to end your misery quicker. Up to you.

Votes from non-draft participants won't be counted, so don't bother.

Finally, rather than just voting, it would be good if people could justify why they think a particular team would win. :50:

    James because Henry.

Nah, stronger attack and centre back combo. Midfields are tight and same for left & right back.

    Has he *!!!

My front two's goals have got the best part of 1,500 goals between them...

His full attack is roughly about 700 between 4 of them...

I think James has the better defence but Pad has the better attack and midfield, although it's hard to vote against a team that contains Jinky!

Pads midfield would win that game in reality.

    This is difficult.

I like Pad's midfield, but not his defence.

I like James' defence more than Pad's.

Attack wise there isnt a huge amount in it. Hmm.

If it makes it easier to understand, when my team is tracking back it turns into 5 at the back, gemmell drops back, as does Alves into full back positions, Redondo drops deep into a 3 man middle defence - Campbell and Balde are * collossus' who will eat Henry apart...

Aye mate that's kind of similar to how I set mine up.

It's just the middle 3 of James' is stronger. Buffon, Vidic and Cannavaro.

That is stronger than Boruc, Sol and Bobo even though the latter two are monsters.

On the other hand, your midfield is a lot stronger so that evens it slightly.

    Give me 10 mins.

I'd say that James shades it with defence. Bogunda Batu has the stronger midfield and more creative quality in the middle of the park. De Rossi and Vieira would be great defensively, and Vieira is a great B2B midfielder too. I imagine that James' team would rely on the creativity of the wingers to create chances.

Funny to think that Jinky would be battling against Gemmell on the right flank. haha.

Both attacks are pretty strong, though I think having Zidane in the No.10 position, is much better than having Rooney there. I think Rooney's peak came as a No.9 as that's where he scored most goals. I'm not going to hold Rooney's last couple of seasons against him but even at his best I think he was more effective up front.

Henry, is arguably the best striker on the pitch. Hard to judge The Black Pearl without footage but having read up about him, he clearly had ability and an eye for goal and we all know that RVN was a great striker, as well as being an excellent poacher. I think with crosses coming in from Alves (a man who assisted Messi so many times), RVN would be banging them in with The Black Pearl.

I think Bogunda Batu wins this one.

My formation is structurally better, and allows for my team to pick many holes in his.

Especially with his lack of DM, of which Zidane would dominate this match.
