    Meh..waiting till next year for a hopeful PC release.

    Shocking they * over the PC gamers again,no need for that,and all to make even more money.

    Funny how in the gaming world that if EA/Blizzard did this they be hounded to *,but Rockstar do it and nothing seems to be asked.

    They also have championed micro transactions for a long time and don't get much flak for it. The thing is they produce genuinely excellent games and I have never felt lured into paying for any through them. I don't tend to pre order but with them I do.

    To be fair though, the microtransactions in GTAO are probably one of the best ways to do it.
    Completely and utterly not used to directly buy products/cosmetics/weapons etc in game. It is so far from pay to win it is unreal. They don't force it on you. No where in the gameplay does it try to entice you/give you secondary options etc.

    The only place they advertise it, is during the load screen, and even at that, barely.

    One thing I dont like about this is the fact that the FULL single player experience is priced as a "special edition". As much as I want to have it I bought the base game only. I refuse to pay for the special edition for an extra mission or two and encourage that business model. It's basically a way of testing the market for releasing full games at £65 disk and £75 digital.

    Bought the amazon deal of Red Dead 2 & Assassins Creed Odyssey plus the 1tb One S with two controllers for £229, going to trade my current 500gb One S in for £120 at Cex.

    Hope its the 4k equivalent of the paper maps since GTA1. Sad that the special features are everything we used to get as standard. If enough buy into it then without taking into account inflation I'd put money on next gen being £60 disk and £70 digital for base AAA game releases.
