Again another tough one...

Will need to come back to this one, would be interesting to know why each player thinks the other is better.

Cruyff edges the attack for Bob, Zidane in the midfield for James, defence CBs even with James having the better Gk. Fullbacks open to debate.

Jinky would destroy Cabrini tho..

This is a hard one. I think the defences are just about even when you consider the Goalkeepers as well.

I think Bob edges it in midield as I prefer the pairing of Falcao and Rijkaard to De Rossi and Vieira, although its tough as Zidane is better than Zico. Think Bob's front three is better overall. I'm just about going for Bob.

 

Bobs team takes it for me. 3-1

 

Bobs team for me, front 4 he wins, has a strong centre of midfield, defence James wins, some unreal players but Bobs team overall.

Really surprised there's any doubt.
There's one outfield player I would swap out for my team from his and that's Brehme.
The rest are superior
I have a better defence. Midfield and attack.
If anyone would care to explain otherwise I would like to hear it.

 

Zico v Zidane.
Personally Zico for me. I am a huge ZZ fan but I think Zico, platini and Maradona are on a different level.

 

Although Zico was a great player, Zidane achieved more in the game and is better overall this gives James a slight edge in the midfield, as the other two cancel each other out.

Defence is close too with Cannavaro arguably the best defender, as captain of Italy's World Cup winning side in 2006 he led a side that didn't concede a goal from open play. World player of the year 2006. You have Kholer who was World Class too but didn't have the same effect on his side as Cannavaro.

You have a better attack, James has a better defence and midfield. James wins it for me.

 

Very close tho.. two excellent sides.

 

Both strong teams. But I think Bob has the edge. Rijkaard beside Falcao, beind Zico. Very strong.

I think the defences are closer but Bob still edges it for me.

In attack, unfortunately it's a clear victory for Bob.

About opinions but no way does he have a better midfield or defence. Maybe it's a generation thing but the midfield of Rijkaard, Falcao and Zico is far superior.

 

It's not a generation thing, I've seen them all in their prime... Falcao>De Rossi, Viera>Rijkaard so they cancel each other out.. Zico was the main man in that Brazil 82 side but they unfortunately fell just short.

Its a very close thing and it is all about opinion, but to say your midfield is far superior is a little arrogant tbh.
