I agree mate, and when we get to champions league next year any of my mates who say hope we get a big club like Real Madrid, barcelona or PSg can * off",it's * torture , hope we get the easiest group possible which will still be tough, no doubt they are great side but misplaced passes isnt really down to the opposition, as good as they are think wecmadecit easy for them, don't mind getting beat to they teams like them or Bayern last game when you feel like they've gave everything ,don't think they are much better than man city but we gave it everything that night , * it though onwards upward to Sunday celik

2-1 over two games wouldn't be 6 points to them... I know what you mean though. We could lose by 1 goal in both games and it would still be the same result.

But it's not about that. Look at Bayern a couple of weeks ago. We lost the game but the players would have still felt good about their level of performance and taken confidence from it.

What the * must they be feeling like after getting battered 7-1? It's a massive difference.

Some nights I hate football.

We've played worse and got a result. They didn't exactly shower us with shots like when we beat Barcelona.

Just everything they did was clinical or on the end of a big mistake by us. Mistakes that count for nothing in Scotland.

PSG are a fantastic team. I'll never like them due to their financial doping.

Tonight will be forgotten when we beat Arsenal 6-0 in the Europa League final.

 

It was Liverpool's defensive frailties which ultimately cost BR his job at Anfield. Not that they have improved under Klopp, as last night showed.

I guess BR is looking at the long term, and willing to take 2/3 heavy defeats against CL favourites to enable the players to develop and perform against the smaller European teams (CL qualifiers and Anderlect)

We all knew UEFA cup football was probably the realistic target, and were in a prime position to achieve that with 1 game left.

Hopefully the defence will get strengthened in January, possibly for another treble and a decent run in the UEFA.

 

Despite a spanking by the best team in the world, I see improvement....

The way we look after the ball, confidence to pass in tight spots and to take the game to the opposition and create good situations in final 3rd.
All imo better than last season and early this in Europe, albeit progress is slow.

Our defence - that's another story - big changes needed.
