That the museum of free Derry is staffed by relatives of those killed on * Sunday. And that a remark by one of them as I left indicated that one soldier will never be enough (not his words just the impression) and 'its not over yet' his words, and the way he looked at me, and his tone left me with that impression.

looked over a nice Renault scenic today , took 2 minutes to see the electric windows on the passengers side weren't working the rubber seal on the windscreen was loose on the corners and various scuffs and scratches on the body work , scenic sunroof was stuck . hmmmmmmmmmmmm offered £500 less the asking price … accepted .

Got home , changed the fuses on the windows .. working fine . put the windscreen rubber in the correct way round , the scuffs will polish ( 40 year in the coach painting trade ) tip , run your fingernails over a scratch if it glides past it will polish , if it catches youre fekked . sun roof , click the switch and gently push up … opens , clean the rubbers wd40 the runners and winder …. job done .

dont try and kid a kidder !!

Fire engines sometimes go to petrol station to fill up, I always assumed they get filled at fire station until I seen one in a petrol station the other day.

That is such a bummer too when he was going for grope.

    * called me a bowl cut when I was wee as if my maw actually used a bowl and cut round it with scissors.. Had a bowl of rice crispies up my mates one day cause was just hanging about next thing I knew I was a starver :58:

"How's it going, it Tam in? No? Oh * I was dying for a bowl of rice crispies too mrs smith." "Oh come on in son we were just making fillet steak and chips, you can have mine I'm not that hungry." "Oh ya dancer, that'll save my ma a tenner. What's for dessert?"

You watching the Celtic game? "We're rangers fans, you know that son." "So, I know my ma makes dinner every day but your tele's bigger than mine so if all I have to do is ask then I'm in. You up to later Sarah, want help with you homework?" "* off ya wee pervert, I'm in 3rd year and you're in Primary 6 you're really going to be some help." "Cow"

I relearned the lesson this morning that you should never give up in life, no matter the apparent odds against you.
I saw a guy about 30 running flat out to catch a No.6 bus that had just pulled up at a bus stop in Cathcart and he was about 500 yards away and his cause looked lost. But, he just kept chugging away at his optimum speed and made himself big hoping the bus driver would see him in his rear mirrors and kindly wait for him, or banking on someone holding the bus up a bit. That happened too. Still, just as he was about level with the bus it started agonisingly pulling away from the stop. Not to be deterred the guy started banging on the side of the bus to attract the attention of the driver.
    It worked.
Kudos to that guy this morning for never giving up.
And for being a perfect specimen of physical fitness. I always admire that when I see it. Because I know that takes dedication and rigorous self discipline in life.
I learned something again today just by observation.
