    Does anyone follow French football ? Just wondering how Ricky Van Wolfswinkel is doing. Might be able to get him on the cheap he's a good player when full of confidence.

    I'd like us to explore French and Balkan market.

    I believe that you can find quality players in France, and you don't need to spend amazing money to bring them in. Now that we have Collins who played in France and speak French, I doubt those players will find it difficult here.

    Although Balkan market is full of over hyped players with questionable ability, you can find good, young players who are certain to improve if they move to a club like Celtic. There are two more things that probably prevent Celtic from operating in this market, agents/chairmen who act like they own the world and work permits.

    Right now there is a great group of young players at Red Star Belgrade:
    1. Luka Jović (17 year old ST)
    2. Mihailo Ristić (19 year old AMC/MC)
    3. Predrag Rajković (19 year old GK)
    4. Marko Grujić (18 year old MC/DM)
    5. Vukašin Jovanović (18 year old DC)
    6. Miloš Stojanović (18 year old DC)

    If they avoid injuries, and with proper guiding, those players can be one day worth +10 mil. pounds (and I'm not saying this because they are Serbian or because of the FM, check out some Youtube videos).

    Aye but I have heard it all before with young players like that, every club in Europe is linked but I'd bet alot of money on him not going to any of those sides you mentioned.

    If they were truly interested he'd have been gone by now, not running into the final 6 months of his contract.

    I agree entirely with exploiting the Balkans.

    Some good young talent there for little money.

    Nadir Cicfti - as proven SPL alternative to Guidetti, and Ikechi Anya - for his phenomenal pace in Europe, would be fantastic signings for Celtic. I want us to sign players who have made an impact in the UK, Our, 2 million market, Pukki and Borreigter European signings have been consistently bad decisions over the last 5 years.

    Wouldn't like Long think he's a bit * tbh don't get me wrong he would be brilliant for pressing and works his ares off every game but I don't think he'd score many goals and isn't a good enough player to link up the rest of the team

    Yoshinori Muto- New darling of Japan: Broke into national team last year and has already played ten times and scored once for them. Scored 13 times from midfield for fc tokyo last season (season ended In January). Would be a great signing tbh.

    We missed out on Takumi Minamino who signed for red bull salzburg in january but this dude would be the the next best thing, we need to get back into the asian market

    Elm has left CSKA signed for Kalmar FF till he can put his illness behind him I think he would be worth the Risk to go for him in the summer even if he hasn't fully recovered because if he gets back to 100% we won't have a chance should try and tempt Agger to he's still only 30

    I saw Jordan Larsson (yes, his son) play yesterday in a cup match for Helsingborg against a second tier team. While being only 17 he was for me easily the best player of Helsingborg (which played with a mixed squad), he is a very intelligent player with very good off the ball moves. Plus he scored a beauty of a goal. We should definitely watch this guy out during the next season.
