    Literally just text my mate that he would be one of the 2 centre backs I would sign in the summer. I think could get him for between £1 -£1.5 million, and would partner him alongside a new VVD. Answers on a postcard where we can find the new VVD within our budget :smiley-laughing002::50:

    That was at Anzhi when they were paying silly money to players like Eto'o and Willian. Think he's at Dynamo Moscow now so probably on a lot less. Still might be out of our wage budget though.

    After watching Feyenoord last night I decided to research some of their players. Looked a no bad team and it surprised me how young all the players were. A large majority were playing their first and second seasons of pro football. We need to take our youth set up far more seriously, Scotland might not have the best talent pool but we're a fairly large name so we could scout out some from lesser clubs/countrys. Top to bottom should all playing the same style of football - High press etc. We should wisen up in this regard.

    I know these are hardly unique thoughts, but is there any reason we couldn't be handling our youth setup much better?

    Good few of the Feyenoord players are overrated IMO.

    Anytime I have watched that Terrence Kongolo he has looked a * bombscare, Ambrose-esque.

    Hard to believe he is in ahead of Van Dijk in the Dutch squad.

    Bakkali could be an excellent signing, but with the way he messed PSV around, i don't think he's thinking about anything other than money and this is a problem.

    I'm gonna stick with guys who can go box to box, preferably players who are fast with good skills, battling qualities, an eye for goal.

    Just looking around i came across this guy from Lillestrom in the Norwegian league, Moryke Fofana. I'm basically thinking someone who can counter attack like Mackay-Steven, but on the left and someone who won't cost much money and come in on decent wages.

    Another factor is someone who'll come in and look at playing here as being a dream move for them, and therefore have that hunger and desire to play exciting football.

    I read somewhere that he isn't really about the money, don't know what to think.

    Right now I'm sure he just wants to play football and get his career back on track at a club where he is guaranteed that.

    He's honestly an unbelievable talent, we know this but i think he'll want to go and play in England and be able to command big, big wages wherever he goes. The teams linked with him are, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool.

    Against those we've got no chance.
