Celtic should go all out for fletcher who id think might not fancy playing for another English team and may just be swayed. Only 30 years old aswell? He'd be superb if he has managed to beat his illness.

    He's a Celtic fan?

Never knew that. He turned us down to sign for the Huns when he was younger before UTD came in. Had his reasons mind.

How realistic would Mings of Ipswich be? I thought he looked quality last night.

Probably way out of our reach but I would love us to go for Darren Fletcher. His contract is up in the summer and will likely take a noticable wage cut no matter where he ends up. He would be the perfect partner for Scott Brown in this formation, is good on the ball and would be a cracker player for Europe.

I believe at his best he was the last world class player we produced in this country, he always producded outstandign performances in the big games for Utd under Ferguson.

Only 31 to, he could probably play at a high level for another 5 years.

    Have to disagree.

Very effective player at his best but not in the world class bracket. The last thing about being able to play for another 5 year I also doubt heavily, considering his injury problems.

I can see him going to New York City with yer man Lampard.

He produced world-class performances when Utd needed him to.

Does that make him world-class? Not necessarily, but still.

Maybe world class is pushing it, but he seemed to producee world class performances when it mattered most against the top teams down south and in England.

I cant think of too many injuries he has had, I know his illness put him out of the game for a bit but if that is hopefully behind him then I could say him playing for 4 or 5 years as long as he keeps himself fit. He has never relied on blistering pace etc for the way he performs.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned him but celtic should maybe take a chance on Scott Sinclair, was swanseas best player before he went to Man City , really good at creating things, however not seen him properly have a run of games in a long time and he could be on massive wages!

Pretty sure it was mentioned during the game that Man Utd and Arsenal are looking at him.

Darren Fletcher could be ok, but it's not really an avenue i'd go down to be honest. Just not a very exciting player.

Not sure on Fletcher, plays a similar role to Brown and his wages would be through the roof.

Completely different types of players though brown is all action where as Fletcher is calm and classy would be great together as for the wages it just depends on how big of a fan Fletcher is

Really think that we should sign John McGinn on a pre-contract. Natural successor to Scott Brown.

Another is Stephen Hendrie. Price quoted in the press: £2million. Contract runs down in 6 months - pre-contract.
