    Frueler is 22 so not exactly another youngster as I first thought, would be expecting him to go straight into contention for the side. He played in both games against St Johntsone but has only made 19 appearances for Luzern.

    Can play anwhere in the midfield as long as it's centrally.

    Quite like the look of the big Hearts centre forward Sow. Shown some nice touches and looks a tricky guy to deal with.

    Also the young guy Nicholson, good a good burst of pace and some nice skill - just scored a screamer too.

    How much would Jelle Vossen cost now? I know that whenever he has previously been suggested it's been shot down but he is still at Genk, been there for 7 years now.

    Guidetti isnt actually very good, I mind saying it on here years ago. He scored a lot for Feyenoord but he wasnt a quality player or anything, * are carried away cause he was scoring there. He isnt the class of player of Hooper or anything, he's average but a good poacher.

    When we are talking of spending £3/4million on a striker, I want someone ideal for Europe. We can get SPL quality strikers for £1/2million like Griffiths and Stokes.

    If he's not a 6'2 defensive beast in the Wanyama mould then this signing will be a complete waste of time unless a couple of our midfielders are planning on leaving.

    Vossen is that man for me. He isn't that fast a striker from what I have seen but he has strength on the ball, can finish and is a bit of a workhorse as well. If that's true and Middlesborough are the only ones interested then surely we could tempt him? By the sounds of it he wants European football and a new challenge.
