Norwich won the Championship. Paddy will be playing PL football next season.
This will be a real rest for him and will give City all the information they need in regards to his development.
That will be why he has signed an extension - if he lights it up City keep him. If he is baws they sell for a half decent fee and maybe recoup what they paid for him.

Not really an appropriate thread for discussing your home improvement plans mate.

His agent has definitely had influence on that decision, makes no sense apart from the money. Anyway, good luck Paddy.

Makes plenty of sense, a year in the Premiership on higher wages than he was on. If he does well, he’ll get sold and get a higher wage, if he doesn’t, he’s guarenteed another year of it.

Pretty much how I see it.

Once they lose a few games and realise that they’re going to be battling relegation he’ll be benched for someone who’ll work harder back the way.

Impossible to say how it’ll go without seeing who else Norwich sign this summer but as it is, they’re * and will be getting pumped on a weekly basis.

They have a spine of Grant Hanley, Kenny McLean and Teemu Pukki.

That’s a brilliant move for him tbf. Premiership football, bet he didn’t expect that after a very poor stint in La Liga.

City probably didn't want to sell at less than half than they would have been getting last season so signed him back with a loan to get his value back up.

I think he’ll do well if he’s not injured.

Paddy is a very intelligent player, if he adapts quickly he’ll he fine

    Was an example.

I think if given time he could very well get into a side like that who want to play on the front foot and attack.

    He has the ability.

Paddy was a great player for us but another winger is definitely not our priority.

Maybe eventually but he's said before he wants to play in the premier league and whilst I agree there is a good chance he'll flop there, I can understand why hes talen the chance.

I predict he'll shortly find himself glued to the bench most weeks

To be honest I think he’s lucky to get himself to an EPL team after his spell at Girona.

Good luck Paddy, hope he makes the most of it :shamrock:

Think Norwich might be a decent move for him actually, will force him to work on his defensive game. Disappointing he's signed on at City though, he's not making it there.
