    The reality is now he gets loaned to a club that didn't want him bad enough to sign him or we do a deal with city. Roberts loved his time here. He knows he is loved too. He also knows at this stage of his career he can show off his talent to the whole of Europe with Celtic, he cannot do that from the city reserves. Am very confident if lawell actually funds it then it will happen

    I think he like many of us expected a Prem club to come after him, however his big problem was that he was not the standout player he was the previous season. I understand this was due to an injury but his name was no longer being talked about. What does he do now, hold on for 2 more seasons to go on a free by which point he will be 23 or go now. 23 is still young so he could decide to wait.

    i read on here that it was lawell who pushed kenny miller out to derby when he didnt want to go and was happy at celtic. if thats true lawell has a lot ot answer for as kenny miller was a big thorn in our side and like or loathe him he always gave 100 percent in any club. dont know if this is true though.HH.

    3 major points regarding that
    a) That just sounds like Chinese whispers.
    b) Although he scored a fair few against Celtic he didn't score many at Celtic either.
    c) What has that got to do with Paddy Roberts?
