As the title says, outwith 1967 what’s the most legendary thing we’ve ever done at the club?

Was it the final we got to a couple of years later, winning 9 in a row, Seville?

I’ve nae idea but good to hear folks opinions.

Without McCann, Dempsey & co there would not be a Celtic today. That is how bad the situation was, and in the years afterward laid the foundation for all the success that has been achieved and sustained ever since.

Br Walfrid and prominant community figures come together to create a football club with the intention of raising funds for the Children's Dinner Table. From these charitible origins was born the Celtic Football and Athletic Club.

I would agree with your points about 67, 70 and 2003. Achievments beyond our wildest dreams and hopefully we can see them again.

From a personal point. I would say stopping them doing 10 IAR. For all there cheating and underhand tactics and help from the SFA, they could only match us to 9, and in a time when there was less competition from other clubs in Scottish football.

I loved 98 1 in a row. We stopped domination, as Celtic had had a pretty miserable time until that point with few trophies. I think that set a large foundation for the success over the last 20 years

Stopping the 10 as the 2 poster's above have said..

Never seen emotion or a noise like it, still to this day..

1970 we should've pumped Feyenoord and the eye was taken off the ball. For that reason alone I would put it under Seville. We were 1 of Europe's best at that time also in 70..

Porto cheated us and still went on to win the bigger cup the following season..

1967 by far a huge achievement that said we are littered with what ifs.... 1970 what would our footballing landscape be if we had won a second European cup what if we had won the uefa Cup in 2003.... What would have happened had some idiot not thrown a bottle on the pitch against rapid and we made the cup winners cup final we are full of these scenarios and maybe we should have achieved these things... Last min edit.. We should have put away villa real 2004 aswell and made another European final

    In my lifetime

1985 - winning league on last day by 5-0 after Albert Kidd done the damage against the diets

1988 - Double in the centenary season

1994 - Fergus saves us and gives birth to the modern day Celtic

1995 - Scottish cup final first trophy since 1989 and something to take back for the opening of Celtic park in August of that year

    1998 - stopping them winning 10

2001 - treble in Martins first season

    2003 - Seville

    2017 - invincible treble

    2018 - double treble

Some ironic matches that maybe not be an achievement but have changed our modern day history

1997 - Falkirk defeat in Scottish cup semi final replay - TB sacked and Wim appointed that summer he then bring us a double and Henrik.

1998 - Wim walks out and it brings Dr Jo who in turn brings us Lubo.

2000 - ICT win 3-2 and Barnes is sacked. Celtic set to appoint Guus Hiddink then Dermott Desmond looks him in the eye tells the board he has reservations and through JP McManus by chance meets Martin, calls the board to a London hotel tells them it’s not Hiddink and he bring Martin out the rest is history.

2010 - 4-0 against St Mirren Mowbray sacked and Lenny put in charge the start of the run 2 years later.

2016 - beat on penalties vs sevco - nail in Ronny’s coffin (he was sacked let’s not kid the mutal agreement) King and the 3 stooges acting like proper huns, Desmond gets everyone back to Celtic park they are in there to 2am and a few weeks later Brendan is appointed.

That’s it for me in my lifetime as things stand!

Men against Bhoys that famous quote by Souness as it came back to bite him hard when the mighty Glasgow Celtic turned Blackburn Rovers over in both legs.

His face tripping him the arrogant cocky *! As a Celtic fan seeing that was unbelievably satisfying!! Legendary :notworthy
