Our manager's ambition

We have a manager who has excited a whole support but is being let down by a board who don't match his or our ambition. As usual we don't strengthen when were in a position of becoming a team who could make a real impression in Europe. I can't see us going thru this tie now and once again it boils down to the board happy to sit on their hands.

 

It's a * shambles.

 

Same old story with the board

 

The fact we went into the one of the most important games of the season with 2 young, inexperienced centre halves and a past it right back is a joke.

That striker of their's embarrassed our defence all game.

They've made a proper * of it. If we could all see it coming, why couldn't they ?

 

Same story, same excuse "wait till we qualify and invest" then when we qualify we still don't invest, nice lights though

 

I hate the board as long as uncle Peter is there we'll never reach our full potential.

 

Brendan has to take some blame aswell . We all knew at the beginning of last season we needeed the defence sorted thats 3 windows and we get Compper and Hendry not good enough

 

He’ll walk or leave for next attractive offer. Won’t be here for 10IAR.

Absolute shambles. A solid central defence and you’d fancy this team against most around our level and to pull a few upsets. To be knowingly denied this must be infuriating.

He’s been brought here under false pretences that he would be supported. He didn’t come here to walk the Scottish prem.

 

Bang on the money

 

If I was Brendan I would be giving them an ultimatum back me or I resign with immediate effect.

Penny pinching dirty rotten * in the boardroom * us over royally this time, can take the Europa and ram it up their shiters.

Disgusted with the whole debacle.

 

Do you think they were his first choice options ?

If so, I agree. If not, the board obviously forced him into the cheap option.

To be perfectly honest, if the gaffer walked soon, I doubt many would blame him. Regardless if folk liked the idea of McGinn signing, Rodgers did, and the club made a mess of it. Going into a CL qualifier with the centre-halves we had tonight was absolute nonsense and the fact nothing was done about it over the course of the window is beyond comprehension.

Something will need pulled out the bag before this window shuts. If next week doesn’t work out the way we’d like, I reckon Rodgers might have a serious think about his position and as I said before, I doubt anyone would blame him.

 

Brendan can only tell the board what he wants, it's up to them to provide. Evident with the whole Mcginn saga. Penny pinching from our board as per mate

 

Can't wait to not be able to afford a room in the hotel either.

 

The whole situation is made worse when we all back the club with our hard earned cash yet it just feels like they pat each other on the back saying it's ok we'll win the league. Our ambitions need to be met or they step aside and let someone else try..what makes it worse is the Huns spend cash they apparently don't have and we don't when we apparently do.

Won’t change anything he’ll leave and lawwell will remain, the guy’s bulletproof.

 

It's obvious over the course of this week that Brendan is not happy at all with out lack of investment. If he's not going to be backed then he will walk at the end of the season

 

Aye but he'll get a deal over the line for a years loan on deadline day and some folk on here will think he's the messiah again.
