    I doubt this would be the case if it were just some average Joe.

    Imagine what the lassie's family must be feeling.. Their daughter's life is worth 1 year in jail.

    In Saudi Arabia you attend a protest and get publically beheaded for it and your body hung from a cross. In South Africa you shoot a young woman in cold blood and do a year behind bars.
