Have to take Lenny's word that he has been excellent etc, however I'd rather Bitton got it.

I wouldn't of given him the armband either personally..

    Would've been Jullien's..

Will be a confidence booster with him being left out the weekend/to keep him motivated in a dead rubber. Plus he's playing beside Robertson..

    Hopefully leads by example..

: "I thought Ntcham was unbelievable. To give him the captaincy and then for him to take on the responsibility the way he did was excellent. I thought his all-round game tonight was absolutely top class.”

Aye, I thought Ntcham was excellent and was taking responsibility on all night. Coached the young bhoy next to him through the game and always made sure he was open for a pass when he had the ball.

Quality, he’s an unreal player tbh. Felt the other players around him let him down a lot tonight. He was the standout for me tonight

Done ok but, for me anyway, showed that he is still behind the established 3 for a centre mid berth.

Been a big critic in the past.

When he’s on his game he’s something else, just inconsistent in games. Glides past folk like they aren’t there at times, great touch and pass but just looks half arsed sometimes.

The big man is a class act and I would like to see him get more game time. Him brown and cal Mac is prob 2 from the 3 but it should be shared around a bit more to keep him happy and motivated and to keep his value up for the inevitable transfer..

He can be used in rotation replacing Brown much more than he has done. McGregor too at this stage.

Ntcham's problem is he's not better or consistent enough than any player in the 3 positions available. He's not a number 10, i'd say both Rogic & Christie are ahead of him there, he's never a CDM (fancy us to sign another for there as well). Most likely he's a box to box akin to McGregor and McGregor is one of the first names on the team sheet. He's going to be back-up for the foreseeable but how long will he be happy with that. Not long I would think.

Thought his passing was slack - especially first half

Was surprised to see him be captain and though he did ok its hard when so many changes in the team. There is a player in there but some of his long range shots were very optimistic. Cluj are a good team with plenty of experience so it might help him see he is not quite as good as he thinks he is

    Must Try Harder

I really like Ntcham and I think we'd regret it big style if he was to leave. I think there's more to come from him. Its just waiting for that spark to kick it off then he could go on a good run in the team and in all honesty could rip Scotland apart with the ability he has. He just needs to break through to the first team and then stay there

Christie, Rogic and Johnston are arguably better or at least more dangerous options in the 10..

If Ntcham wants be a regular debutant for McGregor or Brown he needs do the defensive dirty work more. If he can add that to his game, then what a player we will have.

A few wee tweaks to his game...like some folk keep saying needs to work on the defensive side more...if we could sort that then we could have another player in the mould of Wanyama...then whit a player we would have..

Thought he did his usual last night. A few moments of sheer class, mixed with laziness and slackness.

I can't criticize him last night, he looked motivated and played the captain's role well. It would be good to see more of him and I think he would benefit from regular game time but that begs the question, who do you drop?
