It would appear Lenny is massaging the truth here. Theres no way Ntchams comments come off in any other way.

Its obvious hes went hat in hand and apologised.

In keeping with this windows general theme.... we move on.

We all know the only way Ntcham will play if he gives 100% everytime, that’s the only way he can win over the fans and prove he’s good enough.

If a good bid comes in though we should definitely cash in and replace him.

He's such a talent and so much potential. I really hope he sorts it out and comes back into the fold as a full firing Ntcham would be a delight to watch.

OLIVIER NTCHAM is being tracked by a number of clubs including Marseille and Porto – but Neil Lennon says Celtic have not received ANY offers for him.

The French midfielder sparked rumours he would be leaving the Hoops after an interview with the French media suggested he wanted a move to benefit his development.

But the Hoops have received zero offers for Ntcham despite a host of clubs keeping tabs on the midfielder.

Lennon said: “There has been nothing so far.

It’s a question of him knuckling down now, being a Celtic player and doing what he is good at. That’s what we want from him.

“He is back in with the squad and the players so it is not an issue now.”

It comes after Lennon revealed that he had held talks with the player who distanced himself from the comments.

Lennon added: “Whether you want to call it clear- the-air talks, I spoke to Olivier on Monday so that’s all resolved.

He was disappointed with the way his comments came across in the French media and said the journalist concerned had phoned him to apologise.

“He gave me his side of it and we gave him our side of it and the slate is wiped clean.

I don’t want to go into detail but I made my feelings pretty clear when I responded to it last week.

“I don’t like that sort of mindset towards the club.

We’re not a stepping stone for anyone, we’re here to win things and be successful and progress players if that’s what they want — or keep good players for as long as possible.

“We’re a big club and you’ve seen over the years that top-quality players have progressed here in the Scottish environment.

“He has looked at that and he will look to start getting better again.

Still a talented player I've always said it.

But his comments are that of a player who isnt committed and he didnt show it enough last season.

Would take a big turnaround now for him. And I don't think he has it in him.

What a complete bell end. No * even wants him so hes came scurrying back to Lennon begging for his position in the team back. Play him in the under 20s.

He has good quality but I don't think he suits us, too much of a loose cannon defensively to be relied on in a deeper role and going forward from midfield he doesn't offer the same as Christie and McGregor, not got the same dribbling ability or goalscoring ability.

Only thing he really brings is a bit of quality and swagger in European games where he gets a bit more space and time on the ball but not really worth keeping him.

I'm glad Lennon had a cuppa and a chat with him. I'd much prefer to see him get his head down and flourish than simply be punted. He has the potential to be a great player.

That reads in two ways :56:

Nah not a chance he will be gone - hes staying

Not a chance, he will be gone - hes out.

Granted, he's not been firing on all cylinders since then.
I'm hopeful however that a chat with Lennon has shaken him into life. I would prefer to see him stay and pull his weight rather than read about how good he's suddenly become at another club.

I'd say Lennon has dealt with this well.

He has told the press the issue is over and no offers have been made. Ntcham knows if he wants out offers need to come in. For offers to come in he needs to play well. With Lennon declaring the issue over ntcham has the platform to impress and get his move now. If ntcham plays out of skin and impresses in Europe he knows he could get his move in Jan. In the mean time we will hopefully see the best of ntcham and make a tidy profit at the end.
