Discuss Olivier Ntcham in the Celtic Chat area at TalkCeltic.net.
Let him go and let yaya replace him. New RB and GK and we are sorted.
I doubt you would get 14m plus mbemba but even if we got 8m plus him I think that would be a great deal. A profit on the player plus a decent defender.
I think ntcham is a great player but sadly has not been great this season. So I think time to cash in. We have a stack of talent in midfield and I think we will find it easier to replace midfielders.
If we knocked back 13.5m in the summer , he then signs a new 4 year deal , why would we accept 14m then ? saying we have an abundance of talent in midfield aye so we do. Christie is still finding his feet and that came about because we lost Armstrong and never signed McGinn in the first place.
Brown only has a season or 2 so left in him and wont play every game.
you can go with Christie ,Rogic and McGregor but that midfield will get overpowered some games.
I think now because he has not played that well this season so the club may feel he is worth shifting
That's why we are signing Yaya...obviously...

Because transfer value is intrinsically linked to form and his form has been hoachin' therefore his value will also drop.
Jozo was being touted for £8-10 million moves not so long ago. The club would bite your hand off if they were offered 1/4 of that.
Ntcham is gifted and has got great skill but we need a mobile tackler like Wanyama , not enough players in our team can put their foot in when we have to battle like away from home. weak midfield apart from brown then you have 2 wingers in Sinclair and Forrest who don't like the dirty work either too many.
I still rate him.
Not sure I want him to go. As for comments about Yaya Toure replace him I think that's short sighted. 35 year old and been released by Olympiacos.
People could be in for a shock IF he does sign.
Mbemba also isn't any better than Boyata. The latter is probably superior.
Toure isn't a signing we would usually go for most of our signings must be 19/ 20 odd with room to improve .. sell and recycle.
Nitcham reminds me of Stefan in the fact that they were stellar their first year and fell of their second. Maybe the league has figured him out a bit and I wouldn’t mind him leaving if we get good money but I bet if he stays next year may be back to form.
At that price and with the potential trade in scope, I'd take it. In a second.
Ntcham's looked as though he couldn't be bothered this whole season. I still can't shake the memory of that draw to St. Mirren, largely due to his frustrations on the day.
We have options and, longer term, let's find a bhoy who wants to be here!
I wouldn't be so hasty in selling him either. He will come good again and not necessarily at the expense of Christie/McGregor
Mbemba seems like a headcase. I would rather we just got money. £18M with a 10% sell-on.
£12m odd and MBemba would be a ridiculously good deal for us. Doubt there's much to this rumour though.
will be back training with them next week
Ntcham staying then?
Looks like it.
