People wanting us to spend £10m on him while Valencia are picking the likes of Sobrino up for £5m.

Gets way with being a striker against pish in the SPFL. But his touch isn't good enough in games like that.

His second touch is a tackle half the time.

His touch late in the second half after winning the ball was so bad it wasn’t even a schoolboy error

    Happens a lot

Put in a shift but he’d have been more effective wider and deeper tonight. The one slide rule pass from Sinclair was his only opportunity to get into a foot race.

Should have been played on the right wing instead of forrest and started Weah up front. Cant blame the lad for a poor performance as a striket when he's no a striker.

I like the boy , but he's a winger doing a turn up front when we've got a £9m striker now fit an weah on the bench

Felt sorry for him in all honesty.

Any balls that did go forward were nowhere near him.

He was isolated and was having to chase shadows all night.

If we weren’t too busy * about with the ball at the back and actually got the ball forward quicker for him we might have had more luck.

He was isolated for large parts of the game and put in a great shift, but his touch is nowhere near good enough to play as a lone striker.

He's done well for us so far, but tonight was a step up in class against a very well organised team, still no excuse for the teams * poor performance, but it's always the case that the scatter gun comes out after a game like that, and rightly so.

Not a natural striker but deprived of any kind of quality service tonight.
Tried to chase the lost causes and the scraps but the bottom line is we were losing the ball far to far back in our own half and we didnt advance up the field well enough.

Ball has to stick into feet in Europe against better teams, every slack touch up top reduces our chances of winning massively.

Lots to work with, but miles away from cutting it through the middle at that level.

once eddies fit and starting i'll fully expect him to be out wide when he plays , hopefully was just plugging a gap till Ed was fit and ready to start

he’s a great athlete but his first touch is shocking, he can’t hold the ball up and doesn’t know how to play as a lone striker, get him out wide and running at defenders

Pretty obvious he's not a striker, he gives you those runs in behind but no hold up play.

Valencia played two or three balls across their centre halves last night that I though moussa would have got a hold of....

Try the lad out wide I had fears against them with him up front. Our play doesn't suit him either, we need to mix it up and knock it long, it could be different if we're away maybe they are a bit open but look at the nick of Villareal when Rangers knocked it long.
