Think he's played striker quite a bit before. Brendan might think he can turn him in to a good 1?

Morgan will probably go away on loan..

This signing for 6 month's on loan makes zero sense if it isn't a loan to buy for a decent price..

Don’t rate him at all. Don’t see how he improves the starting 11 in any way, shape or form.

Haven’t seen enough of him to comment.

    Well, apart from this comment.

Could we realistically afford to pay the fee they would want for him? What did they pay? £15m.... they would want to get as much of that back as possible and I can see some stupid club in the championship offering a high fee. Forest or Sheff Wed

Haven’t saw him since his RB Leipzig days. I remember his debut or 2nd game? Against Dortmund he came on and terrorised them and set up the only goal. Forest fans were raging when they sold him too, there’s definitely a good player in there and BR is the type of manager that could get him to shine

He was an odd signing for West brom. Part of a pulis team which played pure defensive football. He didn't suit them, I would say it was a bad move on his part and definitely hindered his career. I can't imagine west brom expect 15m back but I would imagine they would want £10m.

They aren't getting 15 mill from anywhere..

I honestly don't know what they want for him. Some of them, well most of them...have more money than sense..

Wouldn't surprise me if he's brought in just because Arzani is injured. We've got him for next year so this is a pointless, possibly expensive looking loan for 6 month's..

Two ways to look at it the dropped out of epl... Still get parachute payments so effectively dropping 30 million a season while still having to pay player who are signed up on epl wages... So they need to sell regardless of getting any money back on the fee or they are close to being promoted so are not really bothered about recouping the outlay

    https://www.wba.co.uk/news/2019/january/burke-joins-celtic-on-loan/

ALBION have agreed a deal which will see forward Oliver Burke spend the rest of the season on loan at SPFL giants Celtic, subject to a medical.

Sporting and Technical Director Luke Dowling explained the Club have allowed the Scotland international to make a temporary switch to Celtic Park in the hope it will help galvanise his career.

Burke joined the Baggies from RB Leipzig in August 2017 but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.

“To be fair to Oli, there have been a lot of changes at the Club since his arrival which have not helped him,” said Dowling.

“The opportunity to join a club of Celtic’s stature on loan was felt by everyone to be the best pathway to help develop his career.

“Oli liked what Celtic had to offer and he has obviously got the opportunity to play on a great stage which should be of benefit to him.

“I would stress that there is no ‘option to buy’ clause at the end of the loan and he will be back with us at the end of the season.

"We will be keeping a close eye on his progress and still believe that in Oli we have a talented player who we are anxious to develop and progress.”

West Brom now sending us players not good enough for them to ‘develop’.

    Wit a farce.

Let’s see what you can do!

    £15m international player on loan.

    He's failed EVERYWHERE he's been.

Made his money as a young boy and lost all interest in the game it seems

    This screams panic to me.
No option to buy, if rodgers loses the league then he goes back to wba and rodgers walks.
    Cmon to * celtic!!!

    No option to buy ?

Just cannot understand the logic of this type of signing, is this really the best we can do ?
