O’Connor and Frimpong both for around 300k each.

Basically a cross border fee for both.

I’d only say Sinclair and Hendry? Maybe Kouassi depending on Lennon’s plans

Not sure what’s happening with Kouassi. Aye Sinclair, Hendry and Morgan will hopefully be away in January.

I reckon we did good business

 

Been a really good window. We seem to have shifted nearly all the deadwood, which is unheard of. You may argue our starting XI has gotten weaker due to Tierney leaving but the squad overall has vastly improved. Tierney had no cover as was shown time and again last season when he was out for long periods. We now have two players vying for that position.

Apart from Tierney, Lustig and Boyata were the only first choice players to leave but Lustig was in decline and had no competition at right back. We've seemed to have signed a more than adequate replacement and a loan signing for real competition. Boyata was a bombscare and Juillien seems to be a really good replacement. Also, Bitton is a different player under Lennon than he was under Rodgers.

Sinclair seems to be demoted but wee Mikey has grabbed his chance big time. We have also got Elyounoussi awaiting his debut too.

Our depth in all areas are much better this season. Should reduce fatigue and keep more players on their toes.

I would've loved Benkovic on loan for another year to cover Ajer and Juillien (arguably Bitton too). I would've also enjoyed having another defensive mid to cover Brown. All in all though, a very good window.

 

Can't remember feeling so great coming out of a Window like this.
A lot deadwood offski! And some quality first team players added, along with a few cracking youth players.

The fact we haven't had literally dozens of threads on the transfer window posted tells you everything you need to know tbh

 

While obviously some players will leave next summer I think our squad is strong for next year's qualifying stages.

 

If we keep this squad together, we'll have our best chance of qualifying for a long time considering we're always late getting in much need recruitments.

My main worry is if we lose someone like Edouard.

 

Suppose Forster too if he does well.

It's along way off but I feel more confident in this group of players going into the Champions League qualifiers than I did at the beginning of this year's.
