Morelols is strong as an ox & probably same iQ

He definitely has a more physical game from a defenders point of view because that is basically all he has got. He seems to get himself in some decent positions and is instinctive unless given time to think (see opening comment about ox). I am sure they will get decent money for him but by decent i mean 8m unless he suddenly produces quality displays not just goals

Eddy -- guy is class and has everything including temperament. We all know he is going places, we only ask that he waits for the right move at the right price that suits the club.

Eddy is a class player - Morelols is guy who will get you goals - - but is easily riled up. Different types of players and no comparison when it comes down to class, price, skills, attributes. The only thing that can be compared is stats , but a quick look at the breakdown & opponents reveals the truth.

Odsonne Edouard who enhanced an already stunning start to the season with a weekend double in his side’s win over Kilmarnock.

Forster believes you only truly understand the Frenchman’s talent until you face him down in a training session.

He said: “Eddy's been brilliant. He’s such an exciting talent . In previous years I’ve been down south looking in from the outside.

“He’s another one when you see him in training that you really appreciate his quality. He has a knack of scoring big goals in big games. It’s a great quality to have.

I think its impressive how he can basically pass the ball into the net. He's always so calm in front of goal. You never see him snatching at a shot. He just strokes the ball into the net. He'll be the next big money move out of the club. Once the 20 mil mark is being talked about then the club will let Eddy go too. Its * but its the way we are operating lately

CHARLIE NICHOLAS believes Alfredo Morelos is starting to close the gap on Odsonne Edouard.

The former Celtic striker has hailed the Frenchman as Scotland's top striker - but reckons the Rangers hitman is closing in on his Old Firm rival.

However, the lack of celebration from the £9million Hoops striker when he scores irritates Nicholas.

Speaking in his Daily Express column, he said: "Odsonne Edouard is the top striker in Scotland but Alfredo Morelos is starting to close the gap.


"The Celtic frontman is a better all-round footballer, although he has this slightly annoying habit of looking too casual and uninterested a lot of the time.

"It's as if he can't be took fussed in the so-called lesser games.

The thing that irritates me more than anything is his lack of celebration when he scores.

"It should be the greatest feeling in the world but Odsonne doesn't show that.


"The Frenchman has shone on the big stage and he has a growing composure in front of goal.

"People are already saying he is better than Moussa Dembele, who left for £20m but I'm not so sure.

For me, Dembele has more cunning and aggression in his game.

"However, I can see Edouard continuing to improve and leaving Celtic in a year or so for at least £25m.

"Edouard and Morelos are top-class players and we should cherish them while they're in the Premiership.

Morelos is a handful and people are always talking about him for the right or wrong reasons.

"Critics point to his red cards and disciplinary record and accuse Steven Gerrard of being too loyal to him.


There isn't much between Morelos and Edouard, but Rangers are in a better position to cope if their star striker is missing.

"They can call on Jermain Defoe, but Celtic don't have the same quality in reserve."

It used to be a gripe of mine with Eddy, how casual he was in front of goal and would often try take that extra wee touch before shooting. But the guys phenomenal and seems to just keep getting better and his calmness in front of goal is what sets him apart.
