Turnbull in and keep our key players, especially Édouard and maybe recruit his eventual replacement.. pls..

 

I would like to think most players will stick around next year if we’re going for 10 so they can write themselves into the history books.

 

I would like to think that too but I doubt he'd think twice. If * like Tierney can leave then anyone can leave.

 

Make him the highest earner and tie him down. He's smashing Tierney's fee out the park.

One more full season and he can go with the well wishes of the whole support.

As much as I'd like that to be true, I think it means much more to us as fans than it does for the likes of a young, foreign player like Eddy.

If he keeps playing at the level he is right now then there will be plenty of teams in for him next summer and to be honest, I don't think we can grumble if he looked to move on. He would have given us 3 years excellent service, took his game up a level, fired us to a Treble Treble and 9 in a row.

It's how we attract these young talented players like Edouard, Dembele, Van Dijk. Give them a platform to perform and if they can do it for us consistently over a couple of years then they're ready to move to a more competitive league and we will bank big cash for it.

Imagine he'll be our record sale at the end of year. Only thing going for us though is he's already been at a massive club, I doubt he'll be rushing back to the subs bench again.

 

To be honest when he goes I wouldn't mind Lyon coming in for him. They got Demvele on the cheap who has been a success, dont think they would be hard to negotiate getting top dollar for him

 

We definitely need to try and get a replacement in. Get a young superstar on a 6 or 18 month loan with a fee agreed, just like with Eddy.

 

it will be 30-40 million(if he keeps performing ) witch imo is game changing for a club like us tierney leaving for 25mill has up'd the stakes no doubt the only way is up money like that will gives us bigger buying power in the market as well there is plenty of talent that fits the clubs philosophy evan in higher value brackets this all looks very good for the future

 

A very valid point, that may just hold him here a little longer, he'll just be happy getting game time and playing in Europe.
