Exciting to see us building a spine who, on their day, wouldn't look out of place in some of the top teams in the world.

Tierney, Ajer, McGregor, Rogic, Forrest and Edouard all fit into that category for me.

Look at ajax, i feel if we could add a top central defender, rb and striker we could make a sustained run in europe once again.

Been saying it for long enough mate, he's very Samaras-esque in the way that both men have the height and physique of a CF, but are more suited to dragging players out wide then cutting in on the powering run.

 

He's a cracking player , hopefully on the left next season with a central striker (Griff/Bayo or someone new)

 

we really need one of those two to be playing regular next season then we will see the best of eddie .

I'd play him left or with a partner off him or vice versa..

 

Which considering we paid £9m for him is mental.

 

I wish we would drop Sinclair and play him there.

When you see the young boy Harper the other night pressing and so direct with pace...it's hard to see why a boy like that can't at least make the bench and we've NO striker on it..

It’s been said a million times, but it’s still true. He isn’t a natural number 9, in terms of his instincts and being in the right place when he needs to.

He’s at his best running from deep/wide and attacking players. Not a penalty box striker.

 

If the reports of us making another Striker a priority signing next year we could actually see big eddy put on the left. Been sleeping the last few games

 

Samaras type figure. Never two games the same level of performance and goes missing alot of the time. Has all the attributes bit just isn't producing consistently.
