I disagree mate, he’s just not stuited to being isolated. Something that annoys the life out of me when we have no Rogic, more so away from home, we don’t support the striker.

He was better today when Callum got near him, when he wasn’t, it was useless.

    Well spotted mate..

Walked the whole way until it looked like he was told to hurry up and jogged at the last second..

Muttering away under his breath when he clocked it was him being subbed as well..

He does my * in with his general workrate on the pitch..

Chasing a goal against 10 and he kept coming out the box everytime and no one was in it..

Burke and Weah come on and instantly they're stretched more and more..

It's been said a lot before but he's not a lone striker. With brown suspended i'd like to see us go Edouard and Burke up front against Motherwell, bring bayo on sometime too. There's clearly a player in there and once he gets going he'll demolish everything in scotland, but the big question is what he himself can do to unlock that potential.

Fair. I will still disagree though.

I think he's more suited to a partner being near him. He drifts wide and comes deep too often.

I just don't think his game suits it. Yes he needs the support but playing that lone role you also have to make something out of nothing very often and he lacks that ability a lot of the time.

I also think he lacks a bit of killer instinct in the box. Never seems to poach around.

Possibly because I’m thinking of Rogic. Fine line between him in the 10 and an out and out striker.

He is an incredibly frustrating player. When he is up for it he is unstoppable, but his attitude changed after ten minutes and he could have been taken off then.

Today's game wasn't suited to him, Killie packed the box at every opportunity and Eddie is the type of player that likes to square his man up, shift it and have a crack.

Bayo seems the more natural fit for a game like today, when they sit so deep we need a physical presence in the box and Edouard just isn't that guy. I think him and Bayo would cause a lot of problems but that means changing the whole system and playing a central 2 in midfield or dropping Sinclair or Forrest who've been our most threatening players so far this season.

His attitude really * me off,if he had the workrate of burke he would score way more goals.

He is much more effective for me playing on the left hand side.

He is constantly drifting wide anyway which leaves the box empty a lot of the time which isn’t helpful when you are needing a goal.

This. He is never an out and out striker.
His best work seems to be when he gets the ball to feet and is running at the defender. I see him in the left side of a front three but doesnt have the positioning or anywhere near the work rate needed to play as a 9 or a lone striker.

I'd love to see us have two up front. We certainly have plenty of options here now, surprisingly (after where we started the season).

One of the things that crushed me the most about Dembele's departure was not having the opportunity to see Eddy and Moussa up top together. I think that's where Brendan was headed. Now that we have depth there, I really hope this is tried at some point.

I think with how "close" the huns were recently and obviously Griffiths problems have prevented us from being able to do it. I'd rather not risk it against a Motherwell side in form either, so we sadly might not see it until Livingstone home or St mirren/Dundee away.

Great opening ten minutes or so, then just faded out. Eventually we were long balling it to him, useless from us.

Played best coming off the left, wouldn't be a bad shout to actually switch him and Sinclair, seeing how Sinclair is scoring all his goals in and around the 6 yard box anyway.

Needs to up his workrate and show more of a killer instinct..

Even when he got subbed there was no urgency.

I'm with MANY others on his little-to-no fight/attitude.

That ugly f*** Morelos is eating up the goals in the SPFL (a 1 million signing).
    UNFORGIVABLE.

Mr. PSG (£9 million) needs hurry the f*** up and look like he's interested.

OR LG9 returns sooner than we thought.

    Freddo - 1 goal every 120 minutes
    Eddy - 1 goal every 125 minutes

Up until his injury, he was well ahead there as well.

His goal return, and the big clubs he has scored against, all before he even turned 21, is tremendous.
