If it's bottling machines then why when you buy a case the numbers aren't the same.

Where in the process are they mixed?

Still drink it fairly regularly after having my first bottle maybe just over 20 years ago. (Had to think about that there)

I think it sends some folk loopy because of the caffeine but it's never caused me any bother in terms of increased aggression etc.

For years all me and my mates have always checked and whatever number it is we’d call it by the Celtic’s shirt number.

Still do it, probably show’s how long I’ve been on the * that I automatically go to O’Neill’s team. So a 10’s a Hartson, 7’s a Larsson, 25’s a Lubo etc etc

    Immature but fun

They are mixed when they are washed, filled and packed in the bottling hall.

I used to drink it and guess the number within 2 or 3 places either way.
I preffered the higher numbers and used to make the staff check the bottles.

Then I found out its got nothing to do with taste, its just the mould number of the bottle from the bottle manufacturers equipment. I probably selectively remember the times i guessed my bottles of buckie correct and wasted a few peoples time queing in the off licence back in the day whilst the checkout lassie was rumaging through the bottles :giggle1::giggle1:.

I'm guessing in the packing bit. You know like in In the factory at the end bottles all pile down wee conveyor belts and get funneled along into a massive bit where everything gets packed?

    That bit.

Correct...it gets you drunk like any other drink at the same alchohol content or higher...the caffeine may also give u a lift to keep you going a bit longer but am sure the folk that the bad press is associated with have more than caffiene fixes going on :giggle1:
