Don't know what size buses are where you come from but 5 people can easily fit in a car, bus fulls

    Come on now :86:

As I said it's been plenty of players which could fill a few buses I'd wager. It's been happening for years and will certainly continue to happen until Ireland is unified of course but that's a different thread!

The six county team have done very well. However they play a very ugly brand of football, if mons ireland played like that he would be slaughtered by the irish packs.

Michael O Neill has done brilliantly with a very average squad. He knows his strengths and targets the weakness of their opponents. Deserves great credit.

O'Neill's profile must be higher than ever now......good job he's done. For me, it's a team of workhorses that play to their strengths plus the talents of Davis, Brunt and Evans.

Someone mentioned on another thread that they're a continental force now.....i wouldn't go that far even though it's a tricky place to get a result now. Would take them all day long in a 2 leg play-off if Scotland got to it but not going to happen as someone said last night these * things are seeded!

    MON's team plays poor football.

Agree with this. Honestly i've taken the green specs off but i think the best football i saw from a MON side was us!! He had more talented players relative to the competition and i think we played decent stuff under MON.

Some could argue about Juninho not getting a chance because of the route 1 style but i don't buy that personally!

Yes and he gets crucified for it, even though he has got arguably better results than michael oneill, and norn iron play like 1980s wimbledon, they are good defensively but most of their goals are off set pieces and corners

Agree with about Michael O'Neil what he's achieved with a mediocre bunch of players is very impressive, if he was English the press would be all over him as would the job offers. Imagine if N.I get through to play offs with the Republic and play each other that be interesting as both about the same level at the moment.

Would be very tight...same if either drew Scotland or Wales for that matter. All very even

There gonna finish 2nd, but even then they'll have to play a play-off were they won't be seeded.

Really hope they don't qualify. Would gladly take Michael to succeed martin if the latter steps down at the end of this campaign.
