    If you look at most great teams they all have players like this who knit it all together and do the unglamorous work that goes un noticed , glad he signed seems a very popular guy who is well liked in the dressing room.

    Wasn’t so long ago he was a phenomenal holding centre mid being compared to Sergio Busquets.

    I think there’s more in him personally and he can push both the centre halves and the centre mids. His calmness and composure in possession is a vital attribute at times.

    Another one who has committed the vast majority of his playing to career to one club, Celtic. The goons in the msm seem * bent on telling us all this is a thing of the past. Celtic are proving that is a load of drivel.

    I think the Israeli’s view him as a CB now aswell tbh, he could still easily play CDM imo but I prefer him at the back.

    The big man and his missus are settled here, their kids were born here, delighted for him to be honest. Really turned my opinion on him around, soured a bit after his comments on the Palestine stuff, but fair enough, he’s a proud Israeli. He loves Celtic and he’s a big character in the squad. Good enough for me.

    Can see him being the type to play into his 30s here then drop down a level in the SPFL and just stay in Scotland forever.
