    time and time again players who are out injured suddenly get better in peoples minds, it's amazing. This * is another bombscare and the only reason he didn't leave last season is because no * wants to pay his wages. Same thing with Sviatchenko, guy had one good season and people forget the most recent games that he played with us where he was getting turned inside out by a semi professional 36 year old from Gibraltar.

    I agree Biton can do a solid job at the back but for me that is more in an emergency sense. He is not what we need at center back going forward in terms of being a key figure there. In terms of midfield I guess we will just have to agree to disagree between Eboue and Biton. For me Eboue gives the ball away constantly with poor passing and has a poor first touch but does I agree have great energy and drive. Biton for me has excellent touch and has much better passing quality and range. Granted especially for a big lad he is not very physical but I would take Biton playing over Eboue any day of the week.

    I like Bitton as back-up to Ajer in the centre of a 3 at the back.

    It's pretty easy to play the central role in a 3 as most of the defending needs done down the sides. The guy in the middle only really has to win basic headers from long balls and when in possession drop back so the wider guys have you as an option to pass to if you are in trouble. Then it helps if you can use a ball well as you are allowed to come forward as the two wide guys can cover you.

    Both Ajer and Bitton are giants and are comfortable in the air defending basic long balls and both good on the ball, so are well suited to playing there.

    Wouldnt want them as a back 2 partnership though although I would play Bitton before Jozo. Simunovic for me has played his way to the bottom, hes turned into a panic merchant on and off the ball and his head is up his * nowadays. He's woeful.

    Isn't a centre back. Too slow on and off the ball that he's been wiped as a midfielder by Brendan..

    It just shows how brutal we are at the back that he's even considered a good option..

    If fit he would have played last night and that would have imo improved us, I don't mind having him as back up tbh.

    Oh and he is a player who actually enjoys being here unlike that other *.

    Are you just basing that assesment of Eboue on the Hearts game? His passing range and ability is better than Bitton, not remember Bitton and Brown in midfield playing sideways all game and slowing it down to a crawl? Yes Bitton can ping a cracking pass but he’d slow the game down so much in midfield, every game last season Eboue played he was much quicker at getting it forward which is key.

    Everyone sees players differently I suppose, see what happens when Bitton is back from injury and if Eboue can get more gametime.

    I’ve always been a fan of Bitton. At one point he was first name on the team sheet, then he got drafted in at CB and now has been frozen out.
    I’d play him at centre half infront of Hendry, he’s better at reading the game and a good ball player. Just had * all pace.

    Yes I guess on this one we just see things differently. I am not rating Eboue's passing on his dreadful performance at the weekend against the diet huns but on what I have seen of him when he has played over the last couple of seasons. I much prefer Biton think he is a much better player overall.

    Have things got so bad that we're actually crying out for Bitton to come back in at CB?

    This'll be the same Nir Bitton who is a midfielder and has been found wanting time and time again out of position and with zero defensive awareness when he's played at CB?

    * me gently...
