    The Devil Next Door.

    * quality.

Think he was Ivan the Terrible but there’s no way he should’ve been convicted. The witnesses were a farce and I think it was obvious the Israeli’s were forging evidence or using evidence they knew was forged and were only concerned about getting a conviction.

    Just finished it. Quality television.

what swung it for me was when they found out his mother's maiden name was the same as the testimony that was being used to try and acquit him. Guilty as sin. I'm amazed the Israelies let him go/SPOILER]

Aye when that came out it was obvious. I do think it was him but for me the case should’ve been thrown out when their two main witnesses, one couldn’t remember his sons name and said he got a train from Ukraine to Florida, and the other one said he saw Ivan get killed in an uprising. The first guy was clearly senile, and as heartless as it sounds the second guy was just a showman for me.

Actually think the whole thing was embarrassing in the courtroom. Both legal teams were a farce bordering on incompetent.

I think he was guilty but you have a point. The obsession with finding him guilty involved nefarious actions that * the prosecution.

He was guilty though. Utter sociopath. Second only to Bundy in a courtroom.

It should’ve been held anywhere other than Israel, like say Germany...

The Israeli’s * it by turning it into a pantomime and seemed more concerned about the spectacle rather than actually getting him convicted.

Even Demjanjuk’s Israeli lawyer seemed like a Wolf of Wall Street extra :56:

Aye anywhere but there, its was as the lawyer said a show case trial, to open it up to a vengeful audience was unbelievable

Aye mate, I’ve started reading into a lot of their claims right enough and it’s a bit murkier than you’d think.

Firstly, James Cameron (the Director) owns Verdient Foods. Not disclosed at any point, a massive gaffe if they’re trying to be transparent in their goals for the documentary. He’s literally set to gain hundreds of millions by forcing people down a plant based diet route.

Secondly, Vick (the Narrator) is an omnivore. Still. He doesn’t practice what he preaches.

Thirdly, there are that many more elite athletes that are omnivores as opposed to vegans it’s ridiculous. Like 99% to 1% vegan. If you’re lucky.

Lastly, don’t tell folk you done a degree FFS or @JC Anton will be over you like a rash :fear:

Think everyone knows we should all eat more fruit and vegetables but completely writing off good quality meat from trusted sources, particularly wild caught or organic/free range, is as daft as suggesting eating brocolli makes your * harder.

Watched The Devil Next Door the other day, not just this particular case but when you look back at history it's disturbing how many of the actual *'s directly involved in the Holocaust, managed to evade capture after the war and lived to a ripe old age.

And their defence was ............................we were just following orders.
