Finally watched that Madeline McCann documentary.
Not sure what the overall intent was, but can't help think it was to eventually guide the narrative away from Kate and Gerry.
They kept it somewhat chronological which was good, but they still never answered the one thing I can't get my head around.
I get the dogs can't be used as evidence, but clearly the pair of them found something. So what exactly was it they reacted to? A dog trained to search for the smell of dead bodies reacts positive...we are not going to acknowledge that if it wasn't Maddie, then what was it the dog picked up on?
I think that needs somewhat answered.
The rest, fair enough and is a good refresher on what else happened during the years, you forget some things and the timeline of the whole thing.
I'm left without a clue what's happened to the girl, better minds than us on a Celtic forum have tried to solve this one.
What ever happened is tragic, some of the final episodes talked more about trafficking and the likes which got pretty grim and a bit hard to watch.

One thing you can be sure of about any Madeline McCann documentary, there won't be anything new in it, nobody actually knows what happened and it's all guesswork.
Only recently the detectives who are being paid to look for Maddie said they were following a positive line of enquiry, what this really means is that they know nothing and every now and again they drip-feed this bullshit in an effort to string the public along.
Just watched Drug Land. Pretty decent watch.
Anything else like this on Netflix or any good corruption documentaries?
Season 3 Designated Survivor , now released by netflix !
Watched the first episode of "When They See Us". Disgusted already.
Might watch High Seas later.
Set on a ship and people keep turning up deid.
Watched a random movie called Welcome Home which had Aaron Paul (Jessie from BB) and Emily Rajatowski (sp). Was an alright watch, maybe I'm easily pleased though seeing as I'm a fan of AP and what's not to like about watching ER for an hour and a half, especially the scenes shes half in the scud.
Making my way through Breaking Bad, again. Hooked already. I haven't seen a single show that comes as close to it for quality. (I haven't seen GoT before anyone jumps down my throat on that lol)
im the same minty but the other way , saw GOT but not BB
I'm the same as you. It almost feels like BB has ruined my tv watching in general as it reached a level that, for me, no other show I have seen has.
The Seven Five is a good documentary about police corruption.
Finished 'When They See Us'
Tragic what they done to those poor boys, especially Korey who had a terrible time while locked up.
Disgusting abuse of power all so they could tick a box that made them look like they were tackling serious crime in NYC.
Just finished When They See Us as well. * *. I didn’t know the story before I watched it and spent the last episode fearing the worst for Korey ! Glad to see there’s been a backlash but noticed the massive gap in time until they got compo!?
Korey's story was heartbreaking. Wasn't even on the list just went to make sure his pal was alright.
Think it was 89 they were jailed and last out was 14 years later? So 2003 they were all out but it was 2014 before they got a settlement? Disgusting.
The kalief browder story is really good, similer topics and setting. to when they see us.Although it is a doc series
Survivors guide to prison is decent too

Watching Moneyball the now, can't help but think that's what our board meetings are like.
