Dexter is great for the first 4 seasons. Falls of a cliff after that.

Season 6 is easily the best.

Think you’re on your own there.

Season 4 is the pinnacle, imo. Season 7 is the only one from 5-8 that’s up to scratch with the first 4.

If you’re basing it on general consensus then it must be 7 and 8, the highest viewed?

If you’re basing it on proper * moments, for me it’s season Tom Hanks son is in and the church scenes.

General consensus has season 2 as the highest rated and eh...6 as the lowest rated, in terms of reviews. :giggle1: Viewing figures don't really mean much when it comes to quality.

My memory of season 6 is quite foggy, when it comes to the big moments, but the final reveal was fairly obvious for a while. Season 7 was good. Other than that, the second half of the show was disappointing.

If you’re suggesting I’m alone in thinking season 6 was best then you’re using the scale of what the general consensus is. In that case seasons 7 and 8 are best.

No they aren't. They had the highest viewing figures, not the best reviews.

Season 8 had far more viewers than season 2, but it was infinitely worse.

Utterly bizarre to see Paul engaged in a disagreement with someone.

Just watched Whiplash. About a young guy wanting to be considered as one of the great jazz drummers. Utterly fantastic. Well worth a watch. JK Simmons and Miles Teller both excel in the leading rolls.
