Just their version of our very own snoopers charter, and yet they condone the Chinese for censoring their internet.

Not a good thing overall, restricting/slowing down content should not be allowed as it should all be treated the same. Although the silver lining is it'll cut down on the internet loonies ability to "research" pish, so not all bad I suppose :giggle1:

I wouldn’t be so sure. Alex Jones (the bat-* crazy American one, not the bland, but lovely, Welsh one :giggle1:) is calling this a victory.

This is worse news than Brexit. Absolutely depressing reading.

Hopefully there are protective measures put in place for the UK.

The EU has laws in place to protect internet for us normal folks.
So we should have nothing to worry about.

    Oh hang on. Brexit.

    Yes. Yes we do.

Nah mate. You need to get on to your internet service provider and tell them you want to subscribe to the Ad Free package for an extra 12.99 a month.
    That should sort you out.

We'll be alright in Scotland. The SNP are as far removed from a nanny state as you can get... :fear:

It's * all to do with a nanny state and more to do with forcibly deregulating and opening everything up to the markets. If net neutrality dies here, it will be at the hands of the Tories not the SNP. And with the UK leaving the EU, that is a possibility since the legislation that ensures net neutrality is a piece of EU legislation

Not as dandy as us Ulstermen with the DUP at the helm.
