Deserves enormous credit tonight. That was petering out to another big dissapointment, but it was a tactical masterstroke the change of system.

That second half was unbelievable, full credit to Lenny he got it spot on with his changes. What a great start to group 7 points already.

NL: It’s been an epic night for the players and the club."

NL: "We started the game very well. Lazio scored and got the upper hand. We made a change to get more support up to Edouard and thankfully that worked. Against quality teams you need your goalkeeper to play well and Forster pulled off two outstanding saves."

NL: "There were some great individual performances. You can see it’s a learning curve for some of the players as well, bit of naivety at times in our play, but to go to toe-to-toe with Lazio and come away with the three points is huge for the team

NL: "It’s a great position to be in. It’s so important to win your home games. Lazio came to really play so, for us, to get on the positive side of the result is fantastic. We have 7 points now but there’s still a lot of work in the group to ensure we qualify."

NL: "It’s the first time I’ve beaten an Italian team as manager, my seventh go. Very proud night for everyone associated with the club. We look forward to the match in Rome now but we know how difficult that’s going to be on the evidence of tonight

NL: "I’m proud of the resilience that they’ve shown. I’m proud of the win. At times we could’ve handled aspects of the game better but that’s me being pedantic. When you put it into context, we’ve just beaten Lazio 2-1 at home and it’s an amazing feeling."

: " I thought he was outstanding. A rock. He was up against quality strikers. He handled them and then to go on and get the winner capped off an all-round great performance

NL on Forster: "I know what he’s capable of. He makes saves other goalkeepers can’t make. That’s why we brought him in. You need your goalkeeper in big games to perform and he’s certainly adapted to that.

NL: "The atmosphere was spectacular, both teams competed brilliantly and I expect the game to be similar in Rome. We’ll go there with a positive frame of mind."

Good to see a manager actually manage the team, his formation change when Bitton on was masterful.

Absolutely the right call at the right time for 1st substitution!!! Great game management and then going for it with said change of formation.

He changed it before then, when Rogic came on. Elhamed went as part of the back 3, Forrest to RWB.

I agree he did and consolidated it with Bitton. Just good to see a manager read the game and respond so positively.

Point in Rome, 3 points against Rennes (once again making Celtic Park a fortress) then we can play some fringe players and youngsters.

    Finish on 12 points.

    Great. Again.

Actually is proactive in trying to change the game. He is also getting some big performances from some too.

    Top man.
