    Fair
Just showing that you can list his negative achievements just as much as positive ones the past doesn't matter in reality and right now he hasn't shown anything to show he's improved as a manager

He’s shown he can get results at Hampden, which was the big thing to * about last year.

I like how we got a good result last night and * are going out their way to find reasons to criticise him because they have pretty much * all criticism about the actual game.

Snatching at things like Lewis Morgan or ICT 9 years ago.

    Keep it up Lenny.

And yet it is what the conversation has been turned to. Just seems to be the way we are these days.

Was always gonna happen tbf he was an unpopular appointment so any thing he does rightly or wrongly will get overly criticized

That's true although it's a little early in the season to decide.

Even with a home win over Cluj and last nights result transferred to Prague I would still find it difficult to say he has improved from 2014.

Mate...they were * after his first game at Tynecastle complaining about the performance rather than enjoy the late win. The writing was on the wall back even then!!

And when he doesn’t do anything wrong we’ll find reasons to ignore the good he’s doing and talk about the wrongs of years gone by.

The thing is, mate, my post was in the context of these two posts below.

I don't deny that there is a legitimate debate to be had about whether Lenny was the best man we could realistically get for the job. I happen to think he was, but plenty of people I respect very much, such as the prof, think otherwise. My original comment about him always proving people wrong was not in regard to genuine debates like this; it was in regard to the incredible negativity that surrounds him and how his very real achievements are explained away and his every mistake minutely scrutinised.

He is not an incompetent manager, and he is "good enough for Celtic". He has already proved that much and yet some people- even some Celtic fans- still seem to think he isn't. This underrating of his ability is something he has always faced in Scotland and he has always proved these kinds of views wrong.

That doesn't mean that there isn't a genuine debate about whether he was the best man or that he will necessarily prove the people who argue we could have got better wrong. Only time will tell on those questions.

This being the context of my original "always", I wanted to correct the idea implicit in your post that I was basing this on Barcelona. I wasn't, hence my reply. I don't deny Lenny made mistakes (as did Brendan Rodgers, Ronny, WGS, MON, Venglos and Jansen).

FWIW, mate, Barça doesn't even make my top 5 best moments as a Celtic fan (yes, it is in my top 10). Anfield on the road to Seville, the title in 98, Naka's free kick and Boruc's penalty save against Man Utd at CP, Destroying Benfica at CP and a few others all rank above it. My absolute favourite moment of all time was Juve at CP back in 2001.

Mate, see my post just above this one for the context of my post you quoted. It wasn't arguing what you think.

See all the negative Neil Lennon fannies, I wonder if they are so quick to give him praise when things go right or do they just pipe up when things go wrong so they can kick a man when hes down. I think you know the answer, * pathetic.

I think we as a support are sometimes a lot less cynical about the media these days. This massive negativity about everything Lenny does is not coming from Celtic. It's obvious where it's coming from.
