Of what you would have listed there I would like to see us keep Sinclair but also sell Kouassi. I would agree with the rest you have in red there.

Not to mention that it is a 100% dead cert that Benkovic will not be playing for us next season so at this point unless injury dictates otherwise or maybe resting players the week before the cup final Ajer and Simunovic should play together for the remaining games.

    * seem to think that us looking at other options is a good thing, whereas history tells us it’s probably just looking to penny pinch :56:

And it was widely denied by our club and PSG and we ended up paying €9m.

He will assess him at the end of the season, he is in no rush, like I said it’s been widely reported he had a deal in place.

Like I’ve said I’ve not seen anything to say there wasn’t but I’m not staring there isn’t anything out there saying what you are claiming.

I’ve quickly pulled two articles that reported we had a deal in place, like I said it was widely reported at the time.

I’d rather a Lenny than a Ronny mate, history tells us this board rarely deliver a Rodgers.

Ah, sorry, I’m wrong. The interview he gave was saying there was a clause but it’d been reported wrong :50:

Might be a bit harsh but i never rated him even when he was fit, which was a rarity. Doesn't matter in this discussion anyway as i got it wrong and he was signed by Mowbray, which makes Lennon's defensive record seem even better

He was but he was * solid. His cleansheet record with us was ridiculous if I remember right. Problem was he was extremely injury prone and when he played we had to have players coverung the run in behind.

Think it was one of those ones that was definitely worth a punt.

As someone that wants Lenny, that's the one thing that worries me about him. I don't want him if it means going back to that low investment ceiling. Investments like Edouard are the way forward.

TBH I see Lenny this time as someone who comes across as far more laid back and mature, someone who wouldn't make rash decisions on a whim. If and when he gets the job I think you can expect him to demand a decent team investment budget where he gets the final say, He's certainly no doormat.

Having said that, it is difficult to entice players the likes of Eddies calibre to play in the SPL week in, week out, the same can be said of Managers, though the Guarantee of European football and the size of Celtic as a brand/club does go a long way to offset that.

Lenny is still my NO1 choice.
