Aye Hun implosion, ‘he didn’t win the Treble, Rodgers done most of it’

Sadly, there will be more than a few trotting out that narrative on here as well.

Defo, can’t settle for an average manager, but he’s a Celtic man and it’s Lenny, so let’s no debate it..

If Lennon is still manager he should get a few million before selling anyone since Man Utd and Arsenal are looking to buy Moussa Dembele from Lyon since Celtic insterted a sell on clause when they sold him.

If utd go in for him then we are gonna get nearly as much through the sell on clause than actually selling him :56: when's the last time they never paid £50m+ :56:

If we do it (big if!), we have to invite him, mate. It would be so unfair to Ronny not to invite him and we can't invite Ronny without inviting Brendan Rodgers.

Don't worry though, mate. I genuinely think his ego won't let him come and not be the centre of attention (that'll be Lenny obviously).

Our board would probably invite Derek, because it's cheaper. :fear:

Invite him back and set a human-sized rat trap in the centre circle. I'll give them a loan of a set of inflatable dolls, blow them up and stick Sinclair and Musonda masks on them. Put them in the centre trap along with a bottle of St Tropez and some dental veneer polish.

    Wait patiently...

Do a Paradise Windfall with the winner getting the opportunity to run up and volley him in the baws with Ronny timing his roar to the moment of impact and Lennon standing beside cupping his ears to hear the squeals.

I think giving Lennon the job on a permo is a complete no-brainer.

"but what about [insert Rodgers clone name here]?"

    * off with these journeymen managers. Corporate, disloyal, beady-eyed * to a man. Yes, we could achieve marginally greater success than under Lennon, but here's a man, already in the * dugout, who you can set your watch to. Lennon is no politician, what you see is what you get. And although he's not in the elite tier of football managers, he's * good for his age and will only get better. Complete no brainer. Anyone suggesting some suit-and-tie *, get a grip on yersel

Throw in SNakes compo and if United buy then we have millions appearing to further top up the bank account, surely plenty of £ to re invest in team and still leaving bank position very healthy ?

Yeah I was thinking that. He's a little older and wiser. Let all these managers get sent off for a change

I genuinely don't hate him. He was a bullshitter, I bought it hook, line and sinker. I won't let it poison my life with hate. It did hurt me surprisingly more than it should for a 41-year-old man; but that's my problem.

I simply don't have any affection for him.

If we get the 10, I couldn't care less if he comes to the trophy day. I simply want him to be sent an invite, because I want Ronny to be there. If it happens, the centre of attention will rightly be Lenny and the players; but Ronny also deserves a few moments. One last Ronny Roar with the 10th league trophy in his hands would be a very nice moment. If (and it seems unlikely) Brendan Rodgers also wanted a few moments to celebrate, he should also be allowed that as his contribution can't be denied.

I imagine the response would be... mixed... at best.

What I said to Gyp wasn't a joke either: I genuinely don't think Brendan Rodgers would even come, because he knows he wouldn't be the centre of attention.
