Needed a big statement today and didn't get it..

It's still early days in his tenure, and the international break will help, with Rogic, Ntcham & Christie coming back in.

However, can you imagine going for 9.. 10 with tight performances like that. He should be concerned and not overly jubilant after the last two performances.

    Jury still out for me.

Awrite, so we didn’t scrape a 1-0 win against them at Parkhead under BR, Oli Ntcham scoring?

Facts are, we have been terrible away from home this season. Regardless of manager, Lenny has started putti g results on the board away from home.

9 points out of 9 now, before that we were 18 out of a possible 36.

Already addressing our biggest problem this season. I like that.

EDIT: how much fid a * that up btw, Easter Rd was a cup game :56:

Honestly mate, I’d be much more concerned going for 9/10 with us hemorrhaging points away from home like we were under BR. People are expecting an absolute turnaround instantly, that’s never going to happen but like I keep saying, 3 out of 3 away from home for the first time this season... that’s progress, get the results first then the performances will come.

When we get our proper team back as well I’ll be * delighted, no Christie or Rogic hinders us so * much.

Come on to *, he's what 4 games in? Won away at Tynecastle and Easter Road in his first two, something Rodgers struggled to do, drew at home to the Sheep and won away at Dundee. Even with Rodgers here I would have been delighted with seven points and a cup semi final to look forward to out of those fixtures.

The guy has stepped in when Rodgers decided to * off a day or two before a massive game and has barely had time to settle in, yet still dragged us through some tough away fixtures.

I said earlier, I don't want him in as a long term fix, but the job he's doing now, given the context of his appointment is about as good as it possibly could be.

Absolutely love the guy, and he's still got the rest of the season to change my mind, but he isn't the answer.

....we've got to give him time....he's young and still learning.....oops sorry, thought this was another Eddy excuse thread.

I, for one, hope Lenny's here for ten in a row.....and * every single one of you who don't.

    Hail, Hail Neil Lennon

we weren't terrible when we beat dundee 5-0 last time we played them in dundee. Like we we were playing dundee today

we also dropped points at home for the first time since the break this season under Lennon so...

maybe he's fixed one problem but he broke another in the process

you have to look at all the facts, not just the ones you choose to highlight

I think the hun game after the break will be the acid test for Lennon, get a good performance and result then things might be looking up from there.

4 games in, undefeated and people have come to the conclusion he’s not the answer?

What exactly were people expecting to happen when he took over in the middle of a season? He’s taken a team that’s not his and he’s taken over from a manager that set extremely high standards, domestically.

I expect us to do more than 'put points on the board' with a last-minute winner against second-from-bottom Dundee when we are challenging for an eighth consecutive title.

I want to see intelligent football.

We did, and I think with Rogic and Christie in the team we are a far, far different outfit. He broke another one? :56:

Are you * me, you think Lenny’s broken Celtic? Away take yer mouth for a * man :56::56::56:

Hayes was arguably MOTM even though he was only on 20 minutes so he turned out alright even though he wouldnt have been who most people picked.

People seem to think Rodgers leaving and ripping out the coaching staff that this teams been used to should have absolutely no effect. Some * just know * all about football man.

It's not harsh to expect better than we got to today.

Aye, most * in the match thread screaming for Eddy and Forrest to come off as well.

Forrest setting up Eddy for a last minute winner :56:

    * are spoiled these days, they don’t can mind back in the day last minute winners against the likes of Gretna were recognised for what they were, games that win you the league. The games you don’t play well in and still get the points on the board are * vital.
