    I think it would be fair to say that the defensive situation of this team can be classed as negligence.

    Horrendous at the back for a long long time and it has not been rectified.

    A combination of the board and Rodgers have shown to be negligent. My confidence is in the structure of the club is wearing...

    I got laughed at when I posted in the summer about us not getting quality in at the back even said about Gordon being finished, said it again in the last window and the same old green tinted mob saying the same old.

    I really hope they have to ally woke up and seen this has cost us massively and we habe 30 million doing * all.

    The fact we dont even have a second choice left back is sunday league level, calvin miller is not a left back and his development is being stunted by being forced to play there in any first team oppurtunity he gets

    I’d agree wae that. Tbh would prefer Erik and Ajer but hey ho.

    Need to spend a bit on an experienced, commanding centre half. Surely to Christ there must be someone out there?

    The defence has been shambolic from pretty much Deila's last season yet with the exception of the Brendan bounce it's never been sorted.

    This season's CL group stage should have illustrated how badly we needed a re-jigged defence as well as a back-up LB (it's not fair on Miller especially when he can't even get a game).

    Instead we got Compper who's 33 and couldn't even play in Europe where it was imperative we needed a better defence, and Hendry who could turn out decent but has only played 100 senior games despite being nearly 23.

    When Gordon got injured I thought maybe we'd get someone like Freddie Woodman in, as I liked the look of him when he was at Killie last season, has done well with the England Under-21s and the chances of us getting someone like Boruc or Marshall back were pretty slim.

    Instead we got Scott Bain, who I like but there's a reason Dundee fans weren't exactly greeting when McCann froze him out the first team.

    This summer all our top priorities should be on giving Forrest a new deal, bring in a new RB, a new GK, a back-up LB and a couple of READY-MADE CENTRE HALVES! No projects, no potential, just ready and willing to do the job when required. As well as punting any chancer who's more interested in sunning it up in Dubai instead of fighting for the team.
