Discuss Narcos in the TC Media area at TalkCeltic.net.
It could probably cut down the number of episodes to be honest.
I'll need to get back into this the night I think.
Seems everycunt gets bored of it, thought it was just me :smiley-laughing002:.
Just finished this there...it was pretty decent. Nowhere near as good as some of the other Netflix originals like Daredevil or House of Cards, but good enough.
I liked Escobar and the other narcos...they're well played and have good personalities. The main guy Murphy is rather bland...your bog standard American "I'm just trying to do the right thing", in that kind of one-dimensional personality that often happens with American police/DEA in crime drama/movies.
Some bits throughout the season dragged...and did badly, so much so that I ended up constantly looking to see how long it was till it ended.
There should only be two seasons really, even next season will probably be stretched and become a bit of a bore. Should cut down the episodes too, it's based on real events, there's only so much filler creative liberties you can take.
It seems like the Cali Cartel will play a big part next season, but they haven't built them up and I don't care about them.
Yeah, I seem like a bit of a downer on this, but it was good generally. Just got the feeling we'll see another 4 seasons and it'll end up being *.
I still havent watched the last couple of episodes.
I can see what you mean above, I think if they cut it to 8 episodes and removed a wee bit they could have made an excellent series that would be top notch but they did stretch it out a wee bit and they probably shouldnt have continued any further than 1 season.
Aye, 1 season should have been enough to wrap the story up.
Still, I'm looking forward to season 2.
Watched the first 6 episodes.
Great acting, fast paced first couple of episodes, well shot and lovely geography. But it just slows down or becomes so meh, after like he 3rd episode.
They really shot their full load out after the first 3 episodes and its just watery afterwards. I mean what happened at the start could have been done over a few more episodes I thought. Less episodes in the series all in though.
By the 3rd episode, we're introduced to the DEA guy, his mrs, how he met her, his partner, Escobar, the rest of the Medellin cartel, his beginnings, their rise to prominence, them making billions of dollars a year, him becoming a congressman, him resigning. I mean *? In real life there isn't that much left, other than a prolonged period of hide and seek with blood shed.
Im struggling to see how they can finish this series never mind have a second series.
I'l watch never the less though .
Season 2 trailer! Looks amazing.
The guy who plays Escobar is an amazing actor, never watched any docs of Escobar so don't really know if he does an accurate job portaying him but it works for the series!
Series 2 is on kodi but can't find any with subtitles. Anybody had any joy?
This works for me, although it takes a while to watch an episode ..
Release Hub on Kodi has them all with subtitles
