    Despite understanding how planes fly, that * still astounds me.

    Incredible.

    Used to often go to Leuchars as a wee man and watch the Tornados taking off. Would probably still excite me today tbh :84:

    Yeah man Leuchars was the *, went every year for as long as I can remember without fail.

    It’s a shame they don’t hold the airshow anymore. Prestwick airshow is incredibly * compared to it.

    The tornado excercises were always good to watch.

    In terms of military I’ve always loved the F-18 Hornet.

    Civilian wise the Boeing 757-200 was (is) awesome. Especially when powered by Rolls Royce RB211 engines.

    The F-14 is several degrees cooler than it's replacement, the F-18 (imo).
