If he's not getting any game time when we have 2 strikers out, I don't see him starting when we have a week between each game, Griff is coming back from injury and Moussa is scoring hatricks every game.

Start Ciftci in the hope that he might start playing okay, meaning we drop Dembele who has just scored back to back hattricks?

    Great idea.

Ciftci will most likely be on his way come the summer.

There's no long term value in having Nadir, so why pretend to be interested over the next couple of months? Give game time to the kids instead.

I'd much rather see Aitchison given time than playing a guy like Ciftci who evidently has no future beyond the end of the season.

    100%

Aitchison and Crossan will hopefully get some game time between now and the end of the season.

Rodgers can work miracles but Ciftci is probably a lost cause tbh

It looks like he is being put in the shop window. Hasn't done much with his time so far...

NADIR CIFTCI is set to join Polish club Pogon Szczecin on loan.

The Celtic striker saw a move to Motherwell fall through on deadline day.

But the Polish transfer window remains open and Ciftci is expected to join Pogon until the end of the season.

He has come off the bench in Celtic’s last two games against St Johnstone and Inverness.
But with Moussa Dembele in prolific form and Leigh Griffiths edging back to fitness, the Turk’s chances are limited.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is set to sanction the loan deal to allow Ciftci to get some more game-time.

The former Dundee United man was signed by Ronny Deila for £1.5million 18 months ago but has failed to nail down a regular place.

£1.5m * sake. What a shocking deal. No wonder we didn't back Ronny more in the transfer market. Dembele for £500k now that's how it's done.

Its easy to look at the deal now and say that, but £1.5 million isn't that bad. We need to remember that the signing policy was vastly different then, and that at the time of signing Ciftci, Armstrong and GMS had already been flying the previous 3-4 months under Deila. I never wanted Ciftci, but at the same time I do understand the motive for getting him in.

Really thought he would have offered us something a little different when signed, never expected him to beat Griff to starting spot, but thought he would have a been a tidy signing popping up with the odd crucial goal.

Thought he was worth about 15 goals a season off the bench

Aye, I've never been more wrong about a signing.

    £1.8m Balde
    £2.2m Pukki
    £2.2m Bangura

    £7.7m down the tubes!

Add wages onto that must be kicking £10m!!!

We broke even on Pukki and made a slight profit on Bangura I'm sure.
