If I was zidane and looking to rebuild real.i would be looking at big moussa to be the man to spearhead the rebuild zidane was always a big fan of him aswell just food for thought

Good, let him stay at Lyon and smash it again next season as their main striker and he'll be getting sold for twice that in 12 months time.

 

I wouldn’t be happy selling him for £30m if I was Lyon. Particularly when you see how much Man Utd pay for players that couldn’t lace his boots.

 

Bought him for £20m, he's immediately their top scorer and a main player, still only 22, not a chance you sell for 30 a year later.

It's actually a * take that he's gone to a better league for 20 mill and been their top scorer and they've only upped it by 10 mill..

He won't go for any less than 50 mill in my opinion. They're trying to get it done before he smashes it at the Euro's for the 21's..

 

He was a steal for Lyon at £20m.

I would be expecting around the £50m mark as things stand. He’s only been there for a year and will have a while to run on his contract, he’s playing for one of the top teams in his homeland, he’s young and just finished his first season as their top scorer. £30m isn’t a lot of money for Utd really. Not dissed if he doesn’t move in this summer as long as when he does it’s for the right amount. Hopefully he continues to bang them in for Lyon and attracts more interest.

Liverpool and Arsenal have stepped up their interest in Moussa Dembele - according to a report.

Manchester United have been considered frontrunners for his signature with Celtic waiting in the wings for a potential windfall amid reports a €40million offer was on the table.



The Hoops inserted a 10 per cent sell-on clause into their former striker's contract when he completed a £19.8million move to Lyon last summer.

The 22-year-old steadily found his form in Ligue 1 and that's attracted the attention of the Premier League's big hitters.


According to L'Equipe , Jurgen Klopp and Unai Emery's sides have now "made contact" with Lyon, who earlier this month appeared to rule out a sale.

The club's sporting director Juninho insists Dembele will not be heading for the exit, this summer at least.

He said: "There will be only be three departures from the club this summer and they won't be either Moussa Dembele or Memphis Depay.

"Moussa's form has been a nice surprise for us this season. He's very good technically and we want to build on that.


We want to keep him and we will."

The player himself, however, has made no such guarantees.

He appears to be keeping his options open amid the mounting interest in England.



Dembele said in April: “I signed for five years with Lyon and I'm happy there but we'll see what happens.

“I’m happy to stay with Lyon next season but we’ll see.”

 

Liverpool would be some move for him. Would suit them down to a tee.

 

I'd love him to go to Liverpool. Man U could potentially be career suicide with the state they are in just now.
